    What the video doesn't say is that even centers are being asked to shoot the 3. It's no wonder that bigs are going extinct.

    Maybe the 3 point line should be the 2.5 point line, and 30' should be the new 3 point line?

    I'm fine with the evolution of the game--I think this faster, more spaced version of the game is more entertaining. While I could appreciate the grace of some rare big men (like Olajuwon or Kareem), by and large the old version of the game that relied on bigs lowering their shoulder to smash their way to better post position was a lot duller, IMO.

    There's still room for some post play, as Embiid shows, but parking lumbering goliaths in the paint to methodically work isn't something I miss.
