Looking for a win tonight over a devils team we are better than and hasn’t played since Christmas. No excuses tonight!

Igor in goal. No Miller or Panarin tonight for us, but both are close. Devs without Nikita Gusev, Travis Zajac, Nico Hischier, and Dmitry Kulikov.

Rangers came out flat again, am I the only trying to find the system DQ is trying to instill? Cause I see weak transition out of the DZone and a real lack of sustained Offensive zone pressure.

There’s no true offensive philosophy it seems like. It genuinely looks like when we get the puck in the dzone to try and do these long stretch passes, dump in the zone and then change our lines. We have no philosophy, no identity, no real game plan on offense in the neutral zone to set up in the offensive zone. I’ve stayed quiet this whole season basically because I didn’t expect much from this team this year in the division we are in. However, the thing that I can’t stand about Quinn is that he won’t ever stick with a line and allow chemistry to form. We aren’t winning the cup, so let the guys get some true chemistry by running the same lines for an entire game or two or three. Let them learn where they’ll find each other. His constant changing of lines is why offensively we are so stagnant. They don’t have a chance offensively to get anything going because they never know who’s on the ice with them and where to find them on the ice. Let the kids learn the game, and let the lines figure each other out for a few games.

That’s been a big complaint on Quinn all season chuck with the line changes every 5 minutes. If not for Igor the rangers are down 3-0 after one!

Glad im not the only one to notice this, the chemistry is one huge problem that can be solved fairly easily. The total lack of an offensive identity is crushing any chance this team has to score and compete in these games, the PP not being anywhere near as good as last year is not helping either. Lindsey Ruff may have been more crucial to the offense on this team last year then we all realize.

This is pretty much a must have 2pts against a team with 4g in hand and that hasn't played in weeks. May as well pack it in if they lose this regulation.

I thought it was the D that had no system and no philosophy? That's what we heard when they had an above average O last season. The D is greatly improved this season (top 10 in shots allowed). The top players simply are not scoring outside of Panarin. Okay, blame the coach for that, but that's reality. So now it's the O has no system and philosophy. Okay, change it up to fit the pre-set narrative. That works. Again, if you want to blame the coach for all the top players not scoring, okay go for it.

As for must win, must win for what? Again I am confused. This was never a playoff team in this division and new format. You want to tell me they could be in the mix for 4th, okay not crazy, but 5th or 6 was always going to be the most likely finishing position. Maybe they will be worse, we'll see, but that's the way it always has been.

Id be interested in hearing more about the offensive system run by the Flyers, or the Caps, or Bruins. What would you guys say their offensive philosophies are?

I know they aren't likely a playoff team but i'm saying must win if they actually want to still realistically even entertain those thoughts.

For the thousandth time his coach is a retard fire him. JD and Gorton have also failed miserably giving Strome a contract because he fucking sucks and not using the farm to get a big center in here
