Team option after this season. Not a huge risk there by Neil. You have to have depth and Hood plays two positions.

Why didn't they go to Redick is the real question. He was wide open from 3.

I'm 46 and I've been thinking this too. This is it. It is extremely likely I won't see a Blazer of this caliber again in my lifetime. We must not take this for granted.

It's ridiculous. For instance, why is Durant ahead of Dame? Dame has a better PER (invented by Hollinger), a better team record, in a better conference. I mean what are we talking about here? Jokic can't win it with his completely healthy team hovering around .500 and Dame already beat Embiid twice. It's LeBron or Dame, whoever has the better record at the end of the season, in my opinion.

So it should be noted we are only 2 games out of the 3 seed now. Only 1 game in the loss column. A solid 5.5 games ahead of 11th to qualify for postseason.

    Go Blazers

I'm on record saying why I think Hood got a raise and that I'm fine with it. I'm guessing neither Stotts or Olshey think Nas is better than Hood.

I’ll tell you what, it looks like that epic Chicago Bulls game winner in Chicago Dame hit has rallied this team.

They been great since that game and continue to improve

I didn't realize it until I got into a taxi in Singapore in 2017. The driver asked me where I was from and I said "Portland, Oregon." The next words out of his mouth were "Damian Lillard!"

I call bulls***. If Dame helps bring a Championship to Portland, he's too competitive not to want to repeat.

I think he's saying if he brings a championship to Portland it's a wrap that he's the best Blazer in history, not that he'll retire or leave after one championship.

He's going to be the best Blazer ever regardless.

I think it was a loyalty thing. Rodney signed on the cheap, Neil just rewarding him. He's really making a statement to future FAs.

More or less. I think it was the cost of doing business. Olshey got Hood on the cheap with a ::wink:: ::nudge:: promise that when he could pay him more, he would.

I'll read it later. But first let me say this: 4mins for Nas? Fuck Stotts. Fuck him.

Whatever he did tonight was clearly a mistake. Elleby should've got more burn too, I don't know why he didn't take away Covington and DJJ's minutes to get our 12th man some more burn.

I'm getting real tired of us playing our better players and winning on the road as underdogs.

Right now, as in tonight... Hood. Though I like Nas' stroke and improvement.

Neither are huge difference makers in my eyes though. I could see either getting hot a game or two.

What about you? Not a fan of the Hood signing?

Nice win by the Blazers. Survived a barrage of terrible shots by Melo and Hood. Play Little 39 minutes and give Melo and Hood 5 minutes.

Yes, I would like to see Lillard play too. If we had some 2nd round PG, I could see people wanting to give up some of Dame's minutes for him as well. Fans love the guys on the end of the bench.
