Have you watched Man of Steel or Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition? Those films carry more weight than most of the Marvel films which serve as surface level family comedies. New Snyder cut trailer on Sunday.
What does killing off half really do anyways? 20-30 years and the population will be back to where it was. "Oh no, real estate prices just dropped. HELP ME!"
Totally agree with everything you said other than Man of Steel and BvS are just ok. I think they were ahead of their time when they came out and think they'd be more appreciated now that audiences have evolved. Those are super beautiful films. Final trailer for Snyder Cut tomorrow.
@AmirIcon I ran across this article today and thought you might find it interesting: The Boy Who Saved Batman
Eh. The Marvel films are fine but they feel like they've been put together by an algorithm. It's kind of offensive as a filmmaker but there are some films I like. I don't love it when they are made to be family comedies. If you're going to be comedic, take it all the way like Deadpool. I've seen almost of the films and they are very surface level entertainment, which is totally cool. I like the stuff that takes itself more seriously. Snyder does that with his films.
Not sure I’ve ever laughed out loud at an internet message board post as much as I did this like 2 minutes ago. Lawdy
I never saw Justice League but might give this one a try. I was out after BvS and the stupid beating heart. Give me the DK trilogy over all this other garbage, Marvel included.
So far, many are calling this a masterpiece. Here's a little something I did to commemorate the historic Snyder Cut. If this video goes over your head, Geoff Johns and Joss Whedon are responsible for destroying the original film.
Why are none of you commenting on the video I worked so hard on? lol I plugged the Snyder Cut with my own shit. Respect the hustle. lol
