put Dame on CP3. He a much better matchup for Dame than Booker, and CP doesn't look to score nearly as much as he did. And Dame has defended Paul for years. Yeah, sometimes badly, but he's also has decent games guarding Paul. Starting the game with Dame on Booker was fucking stupidity. It made not one bit of sense. And if CP3 is a problem, put Dame on Bridges.

I get that you'll always defend all things Stotts but now you're trashing Lillard in that effort

 

That team looks like it has played a 5 games over the last 8 days on the road. Seriously i have not seen them quite so out of sync in a while.

I didn't like Dame on Booker. I don't like Dame on CP3 for the reasons you mentioned; he's defended him poorly in his career.

I'm sorry if you think me saying Dame is a bad matchup for CP3 and Booker is bashing him. I think Dame has improved on D, but he's average at best.

 

Most teams do not put their point guard on Dame either. Dame should not be trying to guard Booker. Now actually what i am seeing from Chris Paul i think Dame can guard. He is nowhere near as quick as he used to be.

 

I agree on Booker, I did not like that matchup.

It's possible that this might be the first year Dame is good on CP3.

 

I'm saying the DECISION to put Dame on Booker was stupid. It was destined to fail. And everybody knows on whose desk that buck stops...that was Stotts. If the choice between putting Dame on Booker or Paul or Bridges are all bad choices, then somehow Stotts landed on the worst choice of the three
