No Quinn you moron. You aren't playing the hot hand. Shesterkin has a save percentage of about .920 Georgiev .90 Here's an idea Quinn. How about you tell your team to play the kind of defense they do for Georgiev with Shesterkin instead of playing all game with their head up their ass thinking Shesterkin will bail them out all the time. I watched the team do that for years with Hank.

Georgiev is a good backup goalie but IMO Igor is the franchise goalie and needs to get the vast majority of the games.

Yes, and he has mel. Agree 100%, great job by Quinn giving Igor the majority of the games.

This is yet again another chance for the fake Rangers fan creator of this thread to whine. That is all he does. Just about every single post and thread he creates, about a team he isn't a fan of which makes it even more pathetic, is whining and complaining.

Georgiev has earned a point in 4 straight, 6 of the last 8 available in games he started, and he played well Friday night against this same team. I see zero issue starting him today (and I also would have been fine starting Igor if Quinn went that way). Again this is whiny complaining nit-picky stuff.

BTW - get ready for this, if the Rangers lose today, and Georgiev has an okay or worse game, he will blow up this thread ripping everything. If the Rangers win again, and Georgiev plays well or better, he will barely say a peep since we know he cannot give credit to Quinn for anything.

And this is why I clearly say he is not a Rangers fan, and believe that. His posts in here are just about all negative and ripping so many things Rangers. He desperately needs the team/Quinn/most of the players to struggle to have anything to post. So it becomes what he wants to give him life in here (and in his mind "make him right") . Only a non fan of a team would make that so. Again, this guy is not a real Rangers fan, period.

Yeah, no problem rolling with AG again. At this point ride whomever played well the previous game, even though Shest is our #1 guy. Maybe Georgiev gets in the Bruins heads a little and we snag 2 more pts.

I have to respectfully disagree. As a goalie coach, granted for kids, you roll your #1. It is a confidence and groove thing. Goalies are strange birds and what is happening to Igor is something he has never experienced in his career. Now, I am no trivia expert but what team won the cup rolling goalies with the 1A 1B thing? To be more specific who alternated goalies during the playoffs to win the cup? That is a serious question as I don’t know. Go Rangers!

Very few here think the Rangers are a playoff caliber team this season, let alone completing for a Stanley Cup. It's a short season where they are only playing against 7 different teams. Igor is definitely the team's goalie of the future. I think if the Rangers are using Georgiev more frequently than they normally would to showcase him for a possible trade I am totally ok with that.

I agree, and so far Igor has clearly played more (and rightfully so). He has been in 13 games, and Georgiev 8. In a short season with a condensed schedule that seems pretty reasonable to me. I just don't see much here to be really bothered by. Igor has played more. Georgiev has played a fair amount of games as well, and for the most part has been solid. After a slow start by both, I think they have both played pretty solid hockey actually.

If Igor is that fragile the Rangers should trade him immediately because there's going to be much more emotionally stressful crap to come in his career playing in NYC. I think most would call him the #1 but this is the NHL, sorry if I'm indifferent to his KHL heroics but he needs to be much better.
