Wow, Dame is just a shining example of human perseverance. I know the area he's from really well and it's a rough place filled with mostly really great people but a fraction of a population can make things very scary. I hope he's not just talking to friends and family but seeing someone because of these traumas. I hope he's taking care of his mental health as well as we know he's taking care of himself physically. That being said, he's tough and like everyone will make his own decisions and I'm sure they'll be good ones. We're so lucky to have him leading this team.

Dame is a real one. We are so fortunate to have him here in Rip City. I hope he's able to find time during the season (and offseason) to mentally re-charge and just not think about hoops but be with family and remember his loved ones. If you're reading this Dame, we love you and are thinking of you and your family.

    In review,

You're lucky to have a close extended family, but Covid sucks even more it you do because you're more likely to have close family who dies.
You're lucky to not have money problems, but that doesn't stop Covid from sucking.
You can be young, and feel the joys of being a new parent, but Covid still sucks.
    CJ is not getting traded.

    tldr
Covid sucks, even so, you have a job to do. Maybe that helps a little, but it still sucks.
