Whatdoyouwanttim?Ontheveryslimchancewemaketheplayoffstobesweptinthefirstroundagain? I believe Casilla will be just as useful as Castillo in this year's playoff push. A few infield hits aren't going to win the division, or the world series.

Yes I would rather make the playoffs than miss the playoffs. We play a very similar way to the way the White Sox did when they won the world series.

Wedon'tplaynearlyliketheWhiteSoxdidin05.Thatwasateamthatwasabletositaroundandwaitforathreerunbomb.The Twins have 87 homeruns this year, through the same amount of games in 05 the Sox hit 130. Look similar?

Don't get me wrong tim, I loved Castillo when he was here. He was a great asset to have and I would have loved to see him stay, butitmakessomesensetoallowCasillasometimetodevelop.

Really? I thought that White Sox team was all about small ball that year.

I do think he is still a top 10 second baseman because he is always consistent at the plate and has one of the best gloves in baseball still. And I hope Johan changes his mind about thinking that it doesn't make any sense for him to be here. Part of the reason he said that was becuase of the dealing of Castillo. I just think Casilla could have waited a year while we let the better player finish his year up and then we could let him go. But obviously neither of us are going to be convinced by the other

yea true the white sox were all about small ball that year but they also had easily the best starting rotation in the league and thats something that the Twins do not have.... i dont think the Twins have enough firepower or pitching to get back near Detriot or Cleveland this year i think the front office of the Twins is just being realistic
