House impeachment manager Eric Swalwell sues Trump and close allies over Capitol riot in second major insurrection lawsuit https://www.cnn.com/2021/03/05/politics/trump-lawsuit-insurrection-eric-swalwell/index.html
Looks like a straight forward insurrection to me. Of course, the Republican senate take a sabbatical after the event occurred, of which, took the Constitution out of the picture because they didn't want to persecute the "former guy" after his departure from the office. Politics is a legion of political whores. That's why the Trump voting block is the key to their future.
@Phatguysrule here ya go.. illmatics is quite enlightening basically saying the guy should be dead for tresspassing. ive found enough to substantiate my stance. Not wasting any more time on the denial so many have here.
so breaking into the capital is terrorism, but setting the police hq on fire with people inside is not? I mever heard anyone call it as such... im sure this will get spun too.
He broke in while congress is in session, and they are literally HUNTING FOR THEM. That hasn't happened in Portland.
they broke in the police hq and trapped people inside and lit the building on fire!!! Give me a fucking break......
I would like to see a comparison of the # of people who broke into the police HQ, and the # of people who died during that, vs the # of people who broke into the US capitol and died as a result. I'd also like to point out that this is an incredibly weird hill for you to die on. If someone claims they're not a defender of a neighbor who beats his wife, but at every turn they pull the "what aboutism" or defend him/compare it to other peoples crimes, well let's just say that's not a look I'd be aiming for.
