    Got my first shot ....no reactions at 2.5 hours after....will get the second shot April 6th....feels great to be closer to some simple freedoms again. I did my best standup routine for the vets at the VA getting vaccinated with my group...left them laughing...the nurse was laughing so hard she had to put down her needle.....I felt like this small group of Nam vets were like me...hadn't been around people and talked to a stranger in a year....it was a fun evening all in all....glad to be home

    My physical therapist dropped by today. She tried to get me to walk around the house with my walker. It was doubly tough with that damned mask on. Thank your lucky stars that you can even hike at all.

    second day after my first shot Monday eve and no ill effects so far but my shoulder is still sore from the shot...have been sleepier than usual all day.

    Count your lucky stars. My arm was sore for several days. Absolutely no ill effects other than the sore arm. I was going to ask the nurse to tell me before she gave me the shot but then I felt her putting the bandaid on.
