Same old stuff - Bad = coach is awful and gets the blame for everything. Good = wow the players did a great job despite the awful coaching of Quinn. He deserves no credit.

The most comical part of it is, you guys actually believe it. Yes we know you are not Ranger fans and are trolling, but I really do believe you guys truly believe your nonsense. Really sad.

Ah yes the good old days when Renney was President/GM/Head Coach of the Rangers, Quinn's exactly like that. Funny when management finally gave Renney 1 scorer he used Jagr to set the Rangers season goal record (only to be cut loose by the Rangers for overachieveing). Last year Mika, Panarin and Strome scored a combined 229 points, they have 49 this year so there's work to be done and somehow Quinn's responsible by playing 100% effort guys like Rooney, Blackwell and DiG (baby Huey Gauthier could learn how to stay in the lineup watching them). The same Quinn hating Karens who earlier scoffed at Buch being one of the best forwards on the team (Thanks Quinny!) now have to at least concede he's decent. Howden is a better option than McKegg/Nieves all day. I hope to see young talent like Barron up here sooner than later but you need depth and that's what those 4 give a team for a reasonable price. There are 30 games left in the season and at least we can expect to see 2-3 more prospects up before the end of the year.

I feel there's a strong correlation among negativity of posts and level of personal athletic experience. It's fine if you were the last kid picked in gym class, you can still identify as Jim Thorpe nowadays but to continually make fools of yourselves with the fire Quinn nonsense on a Rangers message board is childish. We get it you babies, you've made it abundantly clear you don't like Quinn and green beans. Look at Columbus and that maniac Torts and we can talk underachieving and awful player development skills. I don't know that Quinn's the answer but he hasn't done anything to be fired.

Gauthier has done nothing wrong you schmuck. As usual, another Rangers fan sucking off our coach because his team had one good game after being fucked in the ass and embarrassed the previous games. It's like y0u close your eyes to all the shit games the team plays and how they still have no defensive system to speak of. Di Guishitty has ZERO nhl skill. None. Blackwell is a injury reserve. Nothing more. Quinn has been nothing but a retard developing Lafreniere, Chytil, Gauthier and Kakko. I said last year Chytil can't win faceoffs and it took the dumb fuck over a year to realize that. Kakko should be one timing the puck on the right side on the first PP unit. Yet, he's still not there. Buchnevich is a losing hockey player. He rarely has chemistry with any players on his line. He's a bad PP player. He plays small in big games. For his size, there is no physical element to his game. He's one of those players, you look at his numbers and think he's good but when you watch him in big games, he sucks. You saw that last year in the playoffs where I had to check the lineup to see if he was even playing.

We'll say it one more time for you pea brains. One cup in 81 years. If the clusterfucks that coached this team were anywhere near the coaches you make them out to be, we would have more than 1 fucking cup in 81 years. Especially during the prime Hank years. You don't win cups with no talent schmucks who try hard and a clueless coach who keeps playing those types. You win with a good system and talent. Something dumb fuck Quinn hasn't realized since he got the job.

Only 3 finals in 81 years. As I said also about the last finals appearance. It was a fluke with AV. Both his no defense style cross pollinated with Torts all defense style and it got them to the finals. The players remembered enough how to play defense for that year before they eventually were ruined by AV. The only coach in my lifetime that could coach defense, offense and special teams well was Keenan. Quinn has never put in any kind of defensive system since he's been here and it can't be disputed by anybody in our fan base. Neither can it be disputed that his PP choice of personnel is a fucking embarrassment to the organization.

I like JD. I like Gorton. They have been a disgrace this year. Easily one of the worst in the league running the franchise for this year up until this point. The year is far from over. Hopefully they rebound in a big way.

Also, the Bruins should fire Cassidy for not playing deBrusk and losing 4-0 to the lowly Rangers. Only a complete buffoon of a coach could lose to a coach like Quinn.

I can even understand Tom Renney, somewhat. Renney had a veteran team with little young talent and pressure from stars like Jagr. Quinn has the most talented youth in the NHL and wasting it. This year is not about winning or losing as much as developing these amazing picks. I don't understand LFA, Cheryl, and Kakko line last night. I understand that the team played well, and they won against a very good team, but this is not helping in developing LFA, Kakko, and Chytil. Putting Blackwell with Panarin and Strome is simply idiotic. As dump pointed out, Gauthier has done nothing wrong and if he was on any other team he would be at least on the 3rd line and 2nd PP unit standing in front of the net. The kid is a power forward and very impressive.

You know what is funny about the Gauthier conversation, outside of the fact the guy has ONE NHL goal in 30 + games, even if one were to concede they would keep him in the lineup over Di G and Blackwell, it's not a major issue and very nitpicky to rip a coach for something like that. That's a give me a break you guys will find anything to rip the coach for, as long as it's something.

I would keep Gauthier in the lineup, but it really isn't a major deal, and certainly isn't something I would knock, nitpick, and call for my coach to be fired for. It is comical really, and simply shows you fake non-Ranger fans will get on Quinn for anything.

This coach is a fucking epic moron. He needs to be fired immediately. These scrubs need to be sent down or traded immediately. As a die hard fan for over 45 years of this team it pains me to admit this is one of the worst run organizations in the history of the NHL and in professional sports. One championship in 81 years. Only 3 finals. The only reason they had good teams in for about 12 years was because of one late round pick of a man named Lundqvist who stole game after game after game in the regular season and playoffs and saved the organization from missing the playoffs every year. If not for him, this organization would have gone back to being the laughing stock of the NHL like it was before Messier came in to save it. I was on board 100% with Gorton before this year. I didn't have a problem with Quinn because I had to give him time. I have. He fucking sucks and he's ruining our young forwards. Gorton and JD need to realize this and act quickly before it's too late. Quinn and the scrubs need to go. NOW!

Johnson on waivers. I would assume he won't be claimed by noon tomorrow, after which he'll be moved to the taxi squad, so bye Johnson for now at least.

Di G on Covid list, which means Gauthier should be back in tomorrow night against the Flyers, the fake nitpicking fans can stop their nonsense whining about that one.

And Kravtsov lands in NY this evening. Starts his 10 day quarantine, should be ready to go not long after.

That is awesome - diehard fan for over 45 years...that gave me a good laugh. All you do is whine and complain non-stop, what a miserable fake Ranger fan existence. Fire everyone threads non-stop. Cursing and vulgar comments non-stop. Get rid of the vets and bring up every kid. Fake trades that never ever happen, you are wrong non-stop.

    Funny.

I still have a lot of confidence in JD and Gorton. The Schneider move was an enormous HR. The Cuylle pick is the kind of player we haven't been drafting. We have been taking soft Euro pussies. I liked the draft a lot. After that, they have sucked. The Johnson move was terrible. Not getting rid of Smith or sending him to the minors was terrible. Letting Quinn play with these no talent scrubs is terrible. I respect Blackwell. He's a good kid. I absolutely would want him on my AHL team as an example to develop our better prospects. I would pay him well there also. Same with Di Giuseppi. They aren't NHL players. Simple as that. Howden, I could see on another team with a fresh start. I said earlier. If Calgary won't move Bennett, I would love to take Lucic and a second with half retained for DeAngelo and Howden. I don't want anybody getting run without major consequences the next 3-4 years. It's worth having Lucic around until Lafreniere, Kakko, Chytil, Fox, Miller, Kravtsov, etc.... mature.

Rooney isn’t that bad. Blackwell is decent. Problem is we wanted to see LaF and Kakko play well, not bottom 6 depth forwards

I have a feeling Barron will be in the lineup sometime this week.

Chuck, in regards to Gauthier. You might be right on Gauthier, it is very well possible that the kid doesn't live up to our expectations. We are judging by his career numbers, which were good. We also see his plays now, for example, his power moves towards the net where defensemen have difficulties and he draws penalties. That alone is enough to keep him in the lineup. Put the kid with top players for an extended number of games. Let him develop. Put him on with Zib, or Panarin and Strome, see what happens. LAF had a two-point game playing on a top line, but it took a few games for him to develop chemistry with some guys, with top players. Quinn puts kids (LFA, Kakko, and Gauthier) with top players for two games and then changes the lines the next game.

Do you know why USSR had the best team in the world year after year? Not because they were so talented, which they were. But because when they put the national team together they would yank lines out of the clubs, not individual players. Those lines had names, like group names. They would take 3 players out of one club and the next 3 out of a different club and the same with defenseman paring.

    Quinn changes lines every game.

LFA, Kakko, and Gauthier have to play on the top 9 and each on a different line for now. Kakko has to be on the top PP unit and Gauthier should be on the second PP in front of the net, instead of Lemieux. I have nothing against Lemieux, and I think Quinn was right putting him in the game with Boston, I like Lemieux. But playing Blackwell, or GeZippie on the top 6 is the reason why we are not happy with Quinn.

It's the same almost every year with the Rangers. Incompetence. Almost every year run or coached by incompetent idiots. Been that way for every season but a handful. One of many reasons Quinn is a bad coach is because he gets these weird personal issues with players and can't get over them. He had it with Andersson. He's had it with Kakko at times. He has it with Gauthier. I can only imagine what he will have with Kravtsov. Granted Andersson has done nothing for the Kings. However, is it a question of he's ruined himself or was it Quinn? Or a combination of both. These players are just kids. When you have a coach like our dumbass coach, jerk them around, bully them, bench for them shit vets do and never bench the vets, put them on lines that make no sense for their skill set, it's a recipe to ruin young players.

You guys are so ridiculously nitpicky and over the top, no coach can live up to your expectations.

To even mention Andersson is a joke. The guy was terrible with the Kings, and now isn't even playing because how bad he is/was. But I know that one is Quinn's fault. Must be because like McIlrath you loved him, and you cannot be wrong fake Rangers fan.

As for Gauthier, you miss the point 2009. If it were my choice he'd be on the 3rd line as the 9th forward (until Kravtsov gets here), but I am not going to nitpick my coach on every move he makes, and call for him to be fired because he does something I may not agree with. It may just be possible he has more info and knowledge than I do, but I know that is a foreign concept to you nitpicking "fans".

And guess what, coaches, GMs, President's etc. all make mistakes, that's life. I don't expect my sports leadership to be perfect. I will judge them overall on W's and L's, and to me given the Ranger have been in self-proclaimed rebuild mode, Quinn has done okay. The team overachieved last season, and they are right around where you'd think they would finish this season.

We'll see where the season goes from here, and if they finish in the same range, I think next season becomes the show me for Gorton and Quinn as I expect improvements this offseason, and a team ready to win next season. If that doesn't happen, then I'll be calling for someone to be held accountable. But Gorton/Quinn deserve that opportunity IMO.
