Kinkaid in he nets and looks like gautier and howden out of the lineup. Win tonight and Wednesday and we’re tied with the flyers.

We need 3 out of 4 points in this series, and we need at least 10 zoom-ins on a confused, gum-chewing AV after his team blew a net-front coverage.

Right move rolling with same lineup.

We really need to see Igor by this weekend if we are going to keep hopes alive. Kinkaid is not the long term answer once the book is out on him, and Georgie clearly isnt either.

Night the right move using the same lineup. That's a classic dumb fuck Quinn move. Di Giushitty is not an NHL player. He should never play one shift over Gauthier.

I would like to see Gauthier out there in place of DiGi or Lemieux for a couple games. He has looked decent on a number of occasions...need to see more from him. Aside from that, agreed. Roll with the same lines as last game and hope they bring the same effort/intensity.

And In the more good news dept (sarcasm) according to brooks both fox and buchnevich also out due to covid protocol GFDI!! I would think gautier should be back in the lineup.

actually nhl apps updated lineup shows howden in for PDg and no gautier. Reunnen in lineup

God has to save us from this dumb fuck coach since JD and Gorton have done nothing but jerk off in their houses since the draft ended. Basically Panarin, Zibanejad and Kreider are going to have to go on a world class hotstreak all at the same time or this year is over. Hopefully, if that doesn’t happen they will suck bad enough to draft high and get rid of this reject coach.

When you win 4-0 against one of the top teams, there is not a coach in the league who will shake up the lineup to move back in an unproven kid who is not producing consistently. Zero coaches. None. Name your favorite coaching candidate, and I guarantee you that guy wouldn’t do it. Name your favorite coach of all time. He wouldnt do it either. Come back to reality dump.

He’s done that shit many many times where he goes with the same lineup after a win when he plugs in a couple scrubs and it never works

I didnt say after a win, I said after shutting out arguably the best team in the league.

The issue is moot though with the COVID developments. This team can’t catch a break and cant get to full strength. What a bizarre season.

We need a big game out of Trouba. He needs to earn that contract tonight.

Quinn also moved Kakko up to the first line, and dressed Tarmo instead of Johnson.

Don't point out logic 223. And Gauthier is in the lineup also.

Things are reverse in this universe. When you start a Fire Quinn thread 4 months after he gets the job, you are looking to nitpick every thing you disagree with.

You just go down the list. Let me whine about Kakko, oh wait top 6, okay next. Let me whine about Lafreniere, oh wait top 6, next. Let me whine about Johnson, oh wait out of the lineup and waived, next. Let me whine about Gauthier, oh wait in the lineup, next. Okay I found one. Damn you Quinn for playing Blackwell with Panarin. That's the one to nitpick tonight. See he is awful.

It's I hate the coach, so I will find something to tell you why. He started a fire Gorton thread 4 months after he became GM, so that dog with a bone is coming soon also, no doubt.

Never will you see any logical view, that the team was not/is not ready to win this year. Was picked to finish 6th, and is currently in 6th. The youngest team in the NHL. With 13 mill of dead cap space. You'll never see that mentioned.

BTW - the Rangers goaltending has been terrible this year outside of Igor's play after his first few starts. And it isn't bad D in their own zone, it is terrible goal after terrible goal. Long shots from bad angles. Soft goals all over the place. Damn you Quinn.

First goal occurred because someone (I believe Z) got tackled coming down the boards which the refs missed, leading to a quick and uncontested exit up the near boards. Miller pinched but was a second late (somewhat understandable given the quick exit) and the puck got by him. Trouba took the man but made a soft play on the body and allowed the pass to get cross ice - inexcusable for a guy his size and with his contract. JVR was alone in front because the backcheckers didnt get there in time .

If you think this broken play goal is in any way, shape or form on the coach, I'm not sure what to say.

The first goal wasn't soft. Wait, are we now looking to fire the coach because the other team scored a goal? Yeah, those happen. Breakdowns happen. Even good dmen like Miller have bad plays. The best defensive teams in the NHL have breakdowns.

The point is, the Rangers goalies have allowed many soft goals this season...many. Not to say every goal the Rangers allow is a soft goal allowed by the goalies.

Playing much better this period. And Panarin is so much fun to watch, full of excitement and energy. Great to see.

Yeah baby - Blackwell and Panarin, great job by Quinn pairing them together with Strome.
