Brooks article suggesting center might be the best position for kakko and lafrenniere. What do you guys think of that

 

I think Brooks is a senile, dumb fuck who should have retired years ago. That being said, he has a slim chance of being right on Lafreniere. Not on Kakko.

I don't know but 2g 2A so far for Kakko is weak, no matter his linemates. He's looked strong on the ice but he's gotta start producing numbers wise.

I think Brooks is spot on. The rest of this season should be about next season and beyond. Gorton/JD also need to be bold starting this summer to finish off this team the right way so we can be contenders starting next season. The time has come for the next phase. The bad contracts are done after this season. A boatload of dead cap space comes off this summer. Now is the time.

At the trade DL deal off guys like Smith and Johnson and if you can get a good deal for Strome, deal him now also. Don't make a move to try and salvage this season. We were expected to finish 6th, we are in 6th, that's how this season will be.

All focus on next season and being a contender. Brooks is 100% on point.

I think the biggest thing Kakko needs to do is figure out how to get into open space. That’s why I believe he needs a center with a lot of speed you can back to defense up.

I'm an extremely confident Quinn will be fired before the start of next season. I think Zibanejad has had it with him. Zibanejad has sucked and that's on him. However, sometimes the vets just get sick of a coach when he's dumb. They can see who has talent and who doesn't. Don't think for a second that the best vets on this team see this retard playing Smith, Blackwell, DiGiushitty and Howden over players like Gauthier, Reunanen, Barron and eventually Kravtsov. It's not lost on those guys.
