The more I've thought about it, Batman doesn't get a good look in JL. Batman is supposed to be badass. But, it's very emphasized he doesn't have any powers (his super power is that he is rich) and is just a dude in a mask. He wears this Badass special mech suit against Supes in BvS but when they are fighting powerful alien dudes he just wears his regular old suit and the only new gadget is special gauntlets that don't last long. As for the rest of the team. Is it really much of a team? Superman is their team. There plan in JL and in plan sequels is let Superman beat the bad guy. The fact that Synder was going to have Batman sacrifice himself shows how expendable the rest of the team are. Superman is the team
Well, there was that one time Flash went back in time to when Superman was alive so he could save the team. Dang it Chris.
Daughter and I just watched Book 1 before I had to come into work. I like the old 4:3 style. Makes it feel not as pretty and cleaned up.
I enjoyed the Snyder Cut a lot. I've developed a negative opinion of his work because usually whenever I've watched one of his movies, it's quite obvious scenes were cut out in order to bring the running time down, leaving the finished film feeling incomplete. 4 hours is ridiculous though.
People don't understand that widescreen is cutting picture from the actual scene. The top and the bottom. IMAX format is actually giving you ALL the actual scene and you have about the same amount of black on your TV.
So the Snyder Cut is breaking records all over the world. CEO of WB said they aren't continuing the universe even before the numbers come out. AWFUL at capitalism. HBO Max is our only chance at a sequel. God speed.

Me too. 4 hours though..... yikes. Two complaints, or is it really one complaint...... why does DC continually need to screw over Wonder Woman/Gal Gadot? She is such a fun character and a great actress and they keep screwing her over with these on the nose scenes that just take me out of the moment. There was two moments specifically (and I don't remember if these were in the original cut or not) but they were both just super cheesy. Completely unnecessary. The first was during the bank scene where she kicks the crap out of the bad guys. There's a class of girls in the room and she goes over and one of the girls says something like "when I grow up can I be you?" and Gal says "Sweetie you can be anything you want to be." It reminded me of the super cheesy (on purpose) super hero scenes from The Boys. Just super cheesy and I don't understand why they need to do it. You have this awesome female superhero. She's kicking the crap out of everyone. You have an awesome actress. I really like Gal Gadot. Why can't that just be enough? You don't need to take the audience out of the moment and make sure they get the message. People aren't that stupid. Simply by having awesome female characters that are written well, you're going to build on that and there will be others that come along. But instead they wrote that trash sequel for her which flopped hard and had moments similar to this one and that just set them back. It killed the momentum. It just really disappoints me. The other moment was when WW was fighting Steppenwolf and he says "she's mine" and she replies with something like "I'm no ones" or something to that effect and I just rolled my eyes.
She's not Meryl Streep, but she plays a super hero well. She's likeable. She's believable when she does action scenes. That's the most you can ask for.
So this was basically a retelling of the Wizard of Oz but with superheroes. You had flying monkeys, Dorthey/Diana, a man with no heart, no brain, and twister was The Flash.
