Gauthier in for Howden (Covidicus Maximus). Game 4 for Knobloch.
My guess for top complaint for the night: WHY ISNT GAUTHIER ON THE PP?

No, it will be why isn’t KAKKO on the PP with that 1 timer of his instead of buch. Even valiquette has been harping on that move the last few games. Rightly or wrongly this coaching staff is not a fan of gautier. With kratsnov coming shortly gautier may be running out of chances with this coaching staff. Day to day for Igor is now almost 3 weeks already. Geez!

Buch is not on PP1, Strome is with Panarin, Fox, Zib, and Kreider. And Kakko is probably not on PP1 because he has 2 goals and 4 points all season. Certainly worthy of nitpicking the coaches for though.

I like Gauthier, and he would be in my lineup over Di G or Howden, but again the guy has 2 goals in his NHL career, certainly not something I'm going to flip over.

With Kravtsov here soon my guess is Blackwell or Howden is out on a regular basis.

Tonight is a trap game, go get 2 points and move on. Need to get these points to keep hope for the playoffs alive.

Nice goal for Kakko. First goal in 19 games. Hopefully that gets him going. He is due for a good run.

Put this one to bed. Good to see after a slow start to the 3rd. I like these lines when Kravtsov gets here:

    Kreider/Zib/Buch
    Panarin/Strome/Kakko
    Lafreniere/Chytil/Kravtsov

That's a heck of a top 9. Let's get it going and start racking up the points. That's a lot of talent.

Good win tonight. Kreids 2 goals from his office in front but really happy to see KAKKO get 2 goals. The kid has really been playing well for awhile and the scoring is the last thing for him to click. Once he gets going he’s gonna score in bunches.

They win a game they needed to and hopefully Kakko has woken up. Seems Carolina had a problem with Gauthier too, don't know if he was injured or slow to develop but to get drafted in 1st and get no NHL time his first two years is puzzling. He's starting to remind me of Marian Hossa, Rangers fans waited years unrewarded for him to become a star like his brother. Having all these prospects battling is a good thing. Need to take it to Philly again. I like this format where every game has meaning within the division and there are no West Coast games.
