    I hear you, but I don't agree.

I can't think of a time where encouraging "inflicting torture and corporal mutilation" of someone else is appropriate or justified because I don't like their defensive scheme, a players shot selection, or political beliefs.

If I get to the point where I need to say things like that to feel better, then I hope someone close to me encourages me to get counseling. And I don't think there is anything wrong with counseling either.

From the other side it will probably be big talk in ESPN now and another + for censoring internet content.
Imagine Stotts coaching so bad, that it leads to changes in the world:))
    Butterfly effect.
I don't use tweeter. Facebook alone is braindemaging enough for me.
It sure will establish Stotts position now, BC team can not fire him after this and need to stand strong with positive response to "death treats".

All in all, great fuckin job, tweet morons.

    Backstory:
It's a 15-year-old kid from Nicaragua by the way. Used to be a fine kid but then has gotten caught up with saying anything on Twitter to get a reaction.

It's unacceptable and I and many other in the "Fire Stotts" crowd have spoken out against it. Started my stream by addressing it today.

Since you're not on twitter... This type of crap isn't isolated to Stotts; it's across sports, politics, etc. A college player got death threats for missing FTs the other day.

Also, let me say that the responsibility shouldn't be on the person receiving the threat to determine if it's a legit or not. Nobody has the right to use "I'm upset my team didn't win" as justification for an implied threat.

So they are talking about death threats or more accurately people posting how they want individuals employed by the Blazers (my favorite team in sports) to die. People saying how they want the Blazers plane to crash. Stotts dead. Shit like that. That's disturbing to me, even if it's click bait or follow bait or whatever... people do actually die every day, people have died in plane crashes many times. When I was a young man, far too old for my youth to be an excuse, I hated Kobe as a sports fan. I hated Kobe as a spectator of his celebrity and even though I never posted it on any public forums, from time to time I would tell my friends and family that I wished Kobe would die. When Kobe died it felt horrible. I hadn't said anything about wanting him to in over a decade but I also still didn't like the guy. It just felt horrible that I had said I wanted him to die and that he did. I wonder if other individuals' words mean much to them. Anyway, I hope everyone involved with this team stays safe, healthy and live long happy lives. They're all trying for their loved ones, for this team that is their professional life and almost all of them think of us (the fans) when giving their best efforts.

I don't appreciate how Stotts decides or is able to direct his efforts but I appreciate the fact that he gives an effort anyway. I really hope by some improbability he can be part of a huge turnaround this season and lead this team further than they've ever gone in his tenure. If not I really hope he has a lot of success elsewhere. That's not a joke, even though I want Neil removed from his position as GM of the Blazers I hope for the best for him after that and subsequently I hope the same for Terry.

I don't understand people taking shit too far.

This is ultimately entertainment. I can't stand Terry or his smugness and ineptitude as a coach. I think he has way overlasted his ability, but people say whatever they want on twitter/social. It's ridiculous.

It is interesting that the team has stopped posting his post game interviews after losses on Youtube, though. The comment section of those videos were just filled with Fire Stotts stuff. Think he's gone this summer.

Yeah grow the fuck up. Threats, even, hyperbole, are just fucking too stupid. Please put me on ignore. It doesn't take a sage to see that the timing of such "steam" is pretty bad. You stay ignored, as you have been since I got here. I have good taste, what can I say?

Yeah absolutely, 9 years is waaaaay to much without a Championship. It’s actually a good thing that Fans making pressure, because the organization doesn't seem to care as long as we make the Playoffs each year. But dead threats are unaccaptable

I think Stotts is good person he really is and the players love him and has good offense mind. But when I see him on the side lines I just don't think he thinks fast enough what really happening on the court to be able make adjustments on the fly. Have you has index cards in his pocket and looks at them all the time. Have you noticed his timeouts are basically the same times in all his games. His substitution at the same times that's not bad but I have seen take hot player out of the game because it was time to sub him out. The last thing he don't hold every player with same accountabilties. Stotts we very good assistant for someone. But what we need is a coach that can process the game in real live and just think Stotts don't process quick enough to be head coach.

Dame’s total production for the second half of the game was two free throws. CJ wasn’t much better. But, yeah, fire Stotts.

    Unreal.

I'm one of the more staunch fire stotts guys... never would I ever utter such vile.

Makes me so sad. Anonymity breeds this false sense of un-accounabilty and false confidence. Dunno how they sleep at night.

People should go check out the current anger of Celtics fans with Brad Stevens. Fans want him fired. Brad Stevens. Considered one of the best coaches in the league. Hate the offense, no cohesion, not tough...
