If Neil wanted to trade CJ, we’d have Harden.

I can't be sure that we would have Harden but I know for sure that Neil doesn't want to trade CJ. All of my CJ trade ideas are fantasy but they are fantasies that make sense. Neil's overvaule and loyalty to CJ is the thing that is crazy. I just want Olshey fired!!!

They're a really rough combination to deal with. The shitty thing is that Neil can probably buy himself another season or two of first or second round exits without major moves, just by firing Terry this off season. I hope I'm wrong and if we don't make a serious run at a championship they both get canned.

Yes. CJ is better than Oladipo. Blazers certainly could have had Harden.

You seem to have forgotten that the Nets traded a 2021 1st round draft pick, a 2022 1st round draft pick, a 2023 1st round draft pick, a 2024 1st round draft pick, a 2025 1st round draft pick, a 2026 1st round draft pick and a 2027 1st round draft pick to Houston.

"three first round draft picks (2022, 2024 and 2026) and four first round pick swaps (2021, 2023, 2025 and 2027)"

Not true. Just 4 picks and 4 swaps. A swap is not a pick.

I like that he's upfront about his feelings and trade request. Says it's kinda strange playing without knowing where he'll live in 2-3 days from now.

    Good.
Gordon has some unique offensive skills that would be nice - but I don't see him as a difference maker. Every time I watch him play, I'm astounded how bad his defense is. It's near Melo level...

I wish Boston and Orlando would just get that trade over with so we can get on with it

I would like a three-way trade where we end up with Smart, Orlando gets picks and our young talent (Trent or Simons, pick, Hood, Boston pick), and Gordon goes to Boston.

Sounds like Houston has a shot as well with all their picks.
I am convinced that Orlando wants Little included and that is an issue for Neil......and quite frankly for me too.

Likely that's true, although they could pursue a lesser deal that maintains their open roster spot and then look to fill the open spot in the buyout market. If the Blazers are ready to move on from Zach Collins, I could see them doing a trade with Cleveland for Javale McGee. That would beef up their rotation of bigs in case Nurk continues to be slow coming back from his injuries. It would also open up more money for the buyout market.

what has "convinced" you of that?

if anything, I'd be convinced that the hang-up wasn't players but the pick
