Eric Kratz picked up from the Yankees is 5 for 8 this post season. Good for him.

What a horrible call by home plate umpire. If the pitch were any lower, it would have been a passed ball.
Well, that sucked. Talk about inconsistent umpiring! That should have been ball 4.
I do not blame Kratz for being upset.

Corey Knebel pitches the 9th inning. The same pitch umpire called Kratz out, he calls
a ball. Inconsistency. Walks Peterson. Taylor triples in Pederson off Cain’s glove. 6-5.
Turner up. Tying run on 3B. Two strikes on Turner. 2-2 count. Ks Game ovah!

Thrilla in Manila type of game. In the end Dodger defense gives Brew Crew a
    one game lead.

Kershaw: every time that guy pitches in the post season you can hear Bonnie Tyler singing "It's a heartache" after each loss. A lot of bad twitter comments came out on Kershaw after the game. No Cashman don't even think about signing this guy if he decides to opt out. Let him join Brother Greinke in Arizona. The Milwaukee Braves, yes I remember them had some pretty damn good ball players, Aaron, Eddie Matthews, Joe Adcock, Warren Spahn & of course Lew Burdette from Nitro West Virginia. Yankees lost the '57 Series came back down 3-1 to retake the crown in '58. Imagine the hoopla in LA if the Dodgers lose this series after making those trades at deadline time.

Turner's the very One; Of all Dodger batters, of all Bums you'd want in a game on the line just as you called it CL. The prrfect one with the clutch intangibles & B'Avg (.312), .406 OBP% one wants in this kinda Game on the Line situations, well in most games.

Tho Woody Woodpeck-Turner had the best B'Avg/OBP of all Bums during the Season; he failed to live up to the hype last night. JT's usually a tough out incl Post Season, Machado & Kemp had the hot bats, both 2/4 with Taylor 3/5, between (b/t) the 3, they had all 5 Ribbies.

Machado was the Man last night no doubt, more than a one man band with the first 3 Ribbies....

Hey Trashman Ya' need a SS...~!!!~

Imo Kershaws the most overrated, overpaid, overhyped SP in the game.
I've long fumed hearing the incessant bullshit comparisons to the one & only Dodger Epic Legends & incredible Koufax.

Tho I've never been a Bums Fan, I admired Koufax & Kershaw is like comparing Stanton with The Mick.

LA Fans & sports anchors are the Worst.
    Ohtani's Ruth's equivalent & CK is Koufax....

I'm pretty sure it was Willie Stargell who made the comment that kitting Koufax was like trying to eat soup with a fork.

    ROFLMAO...

I Damn near forgot that one... :biglaugh:

63 W.S. - I do recall Mick asking the HP Ump- "How the hell am I supposed to hit those" i.e. a Blazing Smoking Fastball from hell followed by an offspeed unhittable curve...

Tho Mick went 1/7 with 1 HR & 1-BB; got some lumber on the ball.

Tho- (as you know better than I), a 4/3 W.S. record, his .095 ERA (W.S. Avg) et al were stunning to say the very least, stunning (hiccup)...

The '63 World Series, over before it began. I climbed on a train to go from San Diego to Worcester Massachusetts after the Yankees lost game one. Near the end of the ride they'd been swept. Really freaks me out swept what a bummer.
