And also the best team weve beaten in 2021 other than Philly.

Nah I'd say the Lakers were but that was a long time ago so I'll give you that.
They have a Bucks game coming up at home with a days rest that might change that as well? First of a B2B and the Bucks will have a days rest also so it should not be a huge rest advantage.
Nurk will be on his 4th game back so he could be getting into game shape by then.
The Blazers should have Powell in the line up and maybe getting a feel for what he brings.
The Milwaukie game might be a solid indicator to where the team is standing?
I will be watching it close.

Edit- I see you did say 2021 so yes you are correct. A win on December 28th is in fact 2020.

Another game I would like to see them play well in is the Clippers game In LA on the 6th. This is another team the Blazers can match up well with as long as they have Nurk and Lillard, CJ.
That game is the first of a 2 game road trip that also includes the Jazz. Both games have at least a days rest.
If the Blazers can continue to get healthy (Lillard is not healthy now) and play well, those games should be a pretty good indicator to how they are sitting.

As much as people say Kanter gives back more on D than he gives on O, the guy ended up with a plus 21 last night. I was also thinking; I know we cringe when we see more mobile centers go right around him, but can you imagine other teams' fans when they see their frailer centers constantly blocked out and out-rebounded by Kanter's mass?

Miami shot 56-47-92 and lost that game. Wow. I don't even know how that happened cuz the rebounds and turnovers were essentially even.

This was one of those games where if Rodney Hood played 12 minutes we lose by 5. So nice to have him gone.

Very much looking forward to the addition of Norm and Nurk.

Yeah. Definitely excited to see him get more of a role.

I felt like he played pretty well in this game, but I was surprised to look at the box score and see he was -11 for the game. +/- isn't everything, especially in a single game, but it's kind of interesting.

Nassir Little is slowly becoming criminally overrated around here. Look I like the guy but we need to stop thinking he’s the next great one. Damn

Miami played as bad on defense as Portland. Not only that, they played dumb because they kept doubling Dame all game long while CJ was torching them. If they would have mixed that some, and doubled CJ, the way Dame was shooting they would have likely won

They did double CJ a few times. Caused a few turnovers actually. CJ stepped on the sidelines on one of those plays.

No brother he wasn't and would not be. Not saying Stotts is great or anything but there is a reason Mo Cheeks only got one more chance and that was only a part of one season.
    His numbers are absolutely abysmal.
He is a rather good assistant coach however.

Seems like he has? I mean the team traded away Hood and Trent. They kept Little and Ant.
