Simons has a sweet 3 pt shot. I don't know what other skills he will eventually develop, if any, but damn that three-ball stroke looks so effortless.

Powell looked real nice and showed his versatility on defense. There were times when Roco or Nurk were going to help him out on D and had to back away once they noticed he had stayed in front of his man off a pick. It was almost like they were surprised.

They’re used to playing with CJ and Dame.

Interesting observation. How much energy do Roco, DJJ etc. expend on bailing out others who can't be bothered to play D? So by adding more defensive talent, guys like can do own their job better instead of always putting other fires?

    Nurkic back on the court!
A nice addition in Norman Powell.
Damian Lillard got a game off and will have three days rest before the next game.
The Blazers got a road win.
The Blazers got a road win with Lillard resting.
Simons played a very good game.
    RoCo played another awesome game.

How much more positive can you ask for?

It was also nice not to wonder why Hood was playing over Little.
Now if we could just find a way to get Melo's minutes cut a bit?

It would be nice if Little actually scored in the game.

He will have good games and bad like all players.
I did notice Dame coaching him.

Melo is taking way too many of RoCo’s minutes. RoCo only played 30 minutes. He’s one of our best players and he’s only playing 30 minutes. He and DJJ should be playing way more than they are.

    Powell
    Jones
    Little

The poor man’s version of the Golden State Death Lineup. Will Stotts ever have the balls to play that lineup at the end of games when the team needs a stop or two? I think you know the answer.

It would be such a nice trade if we knew Powell was staying. Maybe, just maybe, if Neil isn't fired at the end of the season then the minutes that Dame and Powell play at the 1 and 2 will make Neil realize that we can be better by cashing in CJs trade value.
