He is the real deal. Effortless on some of these saves and can make the sprawling ones too.

Had a feeling that was going to happen. Rooney just leaves the puck in the middle of the ice.

Igor has been great but he has to make a save on that second goal.

At this point I should know better than to compliment our goalie mid game.

Oh please I swear to god this fucking fan base expects goalies to stop every fucking shot in our uniform. Gimme a fucking break. The overpassing and the forwards sucked cock in this game. Our goalie is the only reason we were even in this game. Didn’t like the way Knoblauch coached this game to be fair. I don’t want to see Blackwell play another game he stinks. Call up fn Barron.

Didn't play well today. Very sloppy for most of the game. Had to figure the Flyers would play a strong game if they had any pride, and they did. We didn't match it and were really sloppy as they upped their pressure game. Flyers did what they had to do. Not much you can do except turn the page. On to the next game.

Gotta find more than a goal on Brian Elliott.

I'll disagree Mess because their grand leader doesn't stop. It is non-stop cursing and vulgar posts ripping Quinn endlessly. You saw Lafreniere with no impact today. You saw Blackwell on the PP over Lafreniere today. If Quinn did that he would get destroyed in 50 posts, but it doesn't work the opposite way when the narrative is pre-determined.

Today was what it was, a desperate Flyers team played a better game and pressured us into many mistakes. Not going to blame anyone, it happens, and you move on. Take the experience out of it, and use it for the long run growth of the kids next year and beyond.

Read his posts above. He did criticize Knoblauch.

I know he's not a top 20 dman in the league and i get on him, but can Trouba maybe make a little more of a difference for 8m?

Tough loss. Igor played great and deserved a better fate. And of course knucklehead moron gets the game winning goal. Too much of our bad 3rd pair d and 4th line in a tie game and down one with 90 seconds left what the hell is lemieux doing on the ice. So tired of losing all the 1 goal friggin games!!

He did - did I see post after post ripping Knoblauch from you, mel, your grand leader? Of course not, it doesn't fit your pre-determined narrative.

I don't blame anyone today, sometimes you just lose as the other team needs a win and is pretty desperate. Is what it is.

Trouba was fine. If you guys continue to expect this stud top level dman then you might as well get ready to complain about him non-stop. If you praise him for what he is, a very solid 2nd pair RD and a leader on the team, you'll be good. Trouba plays hard, isn't afraid to throw his body around, and has formed a very solid pairing with Miller. Not an 8 mill dman, I agree, but a good dman who ideally would be paid around 6 mill. Our top 4 on D is the least of our issues IMO.

Adding a top 6 C, kids gaining experience and learning how to win in the NHL, and solidifying the 3rd pair on D are the issues the team needs to work through prior to next season, and I fully expect they will.

For 8 million he should be putting up a few more points than he has.
