I don't know. There might not be anyone at the moment. Just saying that's where we have an opening on the roster. There aren't any minutes in the backcourt anymore nor at center. A backup swingman, though, could fill the 5 or so minutes per game the Blazers might have. When they traded Hood, the one thing they didn't get back was a player with some length who could capably get the ball up the floor with the dribble. I think that's what they'll look for.

I mean, you look at the roster the last few years. The Blazers have always tried to get a small forward with dribbling skills: Batum, Turner, Hezonja, Hood. I think they value that. TBH, I do, too. Not saying I'd play that guy a lot, but having a guy who can facilitate the offense a few possessions and at least play some D and get a couple of rebounds or keep his own man off the boards is valuable.

My initial thought to Rondae Hollis Jefferson was....why? But I guess you could make an argument that we could use his 6 fouls if we ever faced the Lakers. He does have a 7'2" wingspan. Have not watched him lately, can he still play D? He could help on both LBJ and AD once everyone else fouled out.

I am still hoping Houston will buy out Kelly Olynyk though.

They got less then 2 weeks now to sign at least one player so Olshey need get off ass and get someone half way decent before other get them. But Olshey might sign Blevins the rest of the season and wouldn't put it pass him.

They would never give Ingram for CJ. Maybe if we threw in picks and other stuff.

Does Ingram play defense? I was never super impressed with him on the defensive end.

I think he uses that 7'3" wing span pretty well on D. I like his game.

Ingram's slightly below average defense is still an upgrade.

now maybe olshey showed interest and it wasn’t reported but so far cousins, Drummond, Dieng, and Aldridge have hit the market and Portland hasn’t been reported to show much, if any, interest in any of them. Safe to say Olshey isn’t in the market for a center.

Is there any other player out there that’s better than Blevins that we can sign?
