So, can we now send KD to Tel Aviv along with Meyers or what?
I got enough of this one sided bulshit.

Saw a kid at my son's cross country meet yesterday who looked just like Road Rage Paige, and it freaked me out a little bit...

I first saw Rapaport in Higher Learning with Ice Cube. About black - white things. KD should watch it.

Didn't even know there was gonna be another. End of the third season felt like a pretty complete ending for the series to me.

I'm pretty sure an antisemitic term used for over a century and used during the holocaust is going to be looked at differently than a term that infers that a sex act with another male is a negative thing and the word bitch that is misogynistic. I think KD looks stupid and the NBA should come out and say that they don't condone his language but the terms KD used are not close to as hateful as the one that Meyers used.

Also it's absolutely crazy to think that when a superstar that makes the league hundreds of millions of dollars uses offensive language he would be out of the league but it is logical that a guy who barely plays and uses blatantly antisemitic language would be cut and for lack of a better word shunned. If Durant used the word that Meyers did he would probably get suspended multiple games and need to do some type of statement that he is going to educate himself about the holocaust, antisemitism and Jewish culture/history. Now the fact that Brooklyn has a demographic that includes 20% Jewish people might actually force a trade.

Bottom line, the word Meyers used is far more offensive to my Jewish friends than the insults slung by KD is to my gay friends.

Waiting for the tweet from an account named Kevin Smith saying something like, "I don't know anything about no KD but this Rapaport guy seems WACK and a little sus. We should ignore what he says."

KD must be the most sensitive NBA star ever. Ever more than Shaq

Look at the headlines. No mention of racism. Nobody cares about the "pale" shit, no one. Some might pretend like it's offensive because they're trying to get even but no one really cares. The headlines say "homophobic slurs" and "misogynistic language". The thing that might be offensive to some gay men is that he used a term to degradate Rapaport that meant that he performed oral sex on other males.

Why? Serious question. As I said, am not too familiar with it, but it seems "white" synonym to me.

I always found a Jewish actor playing a white supremacist to be an interesting choice. I rewatched the movie sometime last year. It doesn’t hold up at all. Really dated.

    Also, what herpes?

Right, generally unless your physical safety is being threatened, due to the fact that so much of our history and current power structure is dominated by white people; racism against white people isn't taken too seriously. Some people do take it seriously but IMO it's not a reaction to persecution it's a reaction to a perceived inequity and a resentment that white people are no longer aloud to be outspokenly racist in much of the U.S.

Most definitely someone like Michael Rapaport that has embedded himself so deeply urban culture doesn't really care about being called "pale" or "white boy".

Obviously, KD was using it in the sense it's defined as in the Urban Dictionary:

"To be 'pale' for someone means to want to be their platonic soulmate, or their moirail. You want to be their best friend, and you want them to trust you. A non-romantic crush."

Calling a white person a name synonymous with being white is not offensive, at least not greatly so. Rappaport jokes about being one of the whitest dudes ever a lot. Using the K word, which is not synonymous with the Jewish people, but rather a word specifically designed to evoke hatred and pain, that's only ever been used as a racial slur, is deplorable. These two are not even remotely similar.

    Ummmmm no. Sorry.

    Flip it around.

If someone said "you black (*&E*(#*$&%(#$" do you really think they wouldn't be called racist? Hell, Dan Issel got in trouble for calling a fan a "Mexican (*&(*^(*".

So I got news for you guys. Everything is offensive for everyone nowadays and especially for black people. I am sure if Rapaport said "you black cocksucker" it would immediately turn into racist scandal.

I still hope you joking tho. Is it black humor?

You do you bro, but as a white man, I'm not going to even try to equivalate someone calling me another word for white (factually correct) with using the word Meyers used. I understand your point, there are different standards by race, but white people built the game, so its not my place to complain about it when things don't always go our way. That to me, is pretty much the textbook definition of white privilege and white supremacy.
