What is Steven’s resume’? Three conference Finals in 8 years in a shitty Eastern Conference, but with a much better roster? He’s basically Stotts. The Celtics have won exactly one championship in 35 years, Ainge made that happen with the Garnett trade, and they aren’t winning one this year.

They’ve even been the #1 seed once and choked with HCA.

Fun fact. Terry Stotts has three 50-win seasons as Blazer coach in 8 years. Brad Stevens has had two 50-win seasons in seven years.

Winning playoff rounds in the East is a joke. LeBron basically didn’t turn it up until the playoffs in those days the rest of the conference was so bad.

3 HOF players in their prime, that's how you build a championship roster. Even Doc Rivers couldn't screw that up.

Add 2 more HOF players in their prime to Dame and our roster, I'd like our chances to contend!

Need to pretty much just merge every thread into this one around here. Some 5-6 posters on every thread saying the exact same things.
It's really getting ridiculous. Pretty much read the first 4-5 words of a comment.... NEXT! lather rinse repeat.

No it isn't but that's your opinion and I can live with that. I certainly don't have to "Accept" your opinion as factual and I certainly have my own opinion on the matter.

every poster here repeats their favorite arguments. Frequent posters repeat their arguments frequently. I do it, you do it (and are doing it here), we all do it.

and, no matter which side of an argument you come down on, the other side is monotonously repeating stale, disproved arguments, while your side is righteously holding the line with impeccable objective logic

    Good points.

That said, the "Fire Stotts" stuff every single game is getting to be absurd, IMO. Even if one holds that opinion, there's no conceivable way he's getting fired right now with the team overachieving by most everyone's estimation, with Dame still in full support, and with Olshey's fate tied to Terry's. So why do people insist on posting the same rants over and over again in every single game thread? Beyond tiresome.

When Terry trots out four of our worst defenders at the same time, I'm going to say he needs to be fired. Mostly out of complete exasperation with his horrible rotations.

As long as Jody and Bert have confidence in their employees performance as Im sure they they have and annual revue, Ill stay Neutral. And if I have concerns Ill question them. Their performance is measured with more criteria than winning the grand salami.

The comment wasn't about repeating arguments. The comment is about making every thread about the same thing. But of course you left that part out of your quote.
And no I do not repeat them frequently at all. Long ago i learned that is a dead end road. And no i was not doing it here. Matter of fact that is the first time i have ever said merge all the threads to this one. Maybe someone else has said that but i assure you it was not me.

I did not...I quoted you directly about posters repeating the same arguments in many threads

I'm not arguing with you. I could imagine that it could be exhausting but I just think as fans of the team, a lot of people in here can't believe that we have a coach, that they don't like, that hasn't ever won a game after the second round and has been here nine years. That is without president in the NBA. So I can understand where they are coming from and... fire Olshey.

If by "grand salami" you mean a game past the second round, you're obviously right because nine fucking years without a conference finals game won... that's a lot of leeway the organization has given Olshey and Stotts. Either the ownership is indifferent or they're indifferent.
