Dipshit Quinn scratches Gauthier again for Di Giushitty. If Gorton and JD don't fire this scrub coach at the deadline we can only hope he trades Di Giushitty, Howden, Rooney and perhaps Blackwell to prevent the moron from scratching superior talent.

My mistake. Scratched for Howden. Still shitty.

A miracle were only down 1-0 after one. Completely outplayed. Only Igor standing on his head saving us for the moment.

The only thing holding Blackwell back from being moveable is he has a 2nd year, but maybe they can still get a 4/5th for him. A team could always put him in the minors next year.

This team passes up more quality shots than any team I’ve ever seen

They lit up this goalie last game so what do they do the next game? Pass, pass, pass and pass.

Very lackluster effort by the rangers tonight. Igor saved this from being a 10-2 game but that’s small consolation. Way too much passing as usual and missing 2 open nets and a penalty shot didn’t help either. I think with this loss it’s officially ping pong ball time again

Yup, with Boston winning that's pretty much it with anything past May 13th.

This team was never making the playoffs with this inept head coach. Shooting problem is another simple fix he can't figure out to do. Every time a player during the game passes up a quality shot he sits for a few shifts. Then in practice he does extra skating. They'll learn to shoot the fn puck real quick.

Also need to spend what's left in the season developing the kids and upping their ice time. The kid line would look a lot better also if they had fox and Lindgren at times attached to them instead of the 3rd pair anchors smith and Hajek. Kravtsov you can see already is a player. Once tdl is passed Monday he needs to be on 2nd line with Strome and Panarin permanently. Hope gorton moves some of the excess out of here so Barron can get up here and see what the kid looks like.

Ronning maybe on his way up also. Giving Blackwell some credit. He almost never passes up a good shooting opportunity and he has a really good shot. So while I don't want him near a first or second line, some of the Euro's could look at him and learn. Gretzky always talked about shooting the puck. A lot of our players don't and it's mostly because our pussy coach doesn't enforce it.

Kakko has been playing all parts of the game really well for awhile now except for the constant over passing. Kaapo needs to shoot the damn puck when he has a scoring chance instead of looking for a highlight reel pass. Lafreniere is going to end up with the worst numbers for a 1oa pick in a long time!

Since last year when Hughes had 21 points (7 goals) in 61 games and was a -26. Lafreniere has 12 points (6 goals) in 39 games and is a -6. Over 82 games points essentially the same, more goals for Lafreniere, and better +/- for Lafreniere as well.

As for shooting the puck, no doubt it is a concern, but this team has been way too pass happy for a long time through at least AV's time here. But I do agree the time is here for Quinn to start "punishing" players for not shooting, enough is enough now.

You see it big time from up top. How many times do Rangers players shoot from the point or just inside the blue line, it is very rare. No tips, no muck in front, no rebound chances. That and their refusal to shoot 2 on 1 or 3 on 2, it's always a pass, is very frustrating. Quinn needs to get tougher on that as mentioned.

The division is also the toughest. Many of these old fart teams just want to win games 2-1 as they have old stars in the older parts of their careers or prime just trying to make another run. Pitt and Washington will be bitch slap material for the Rangers soon provided they get rid of Quinn and the kids mature properly.
