    Melo is absolutely a crutch. Spends most possessions sitting below the line and clogging the lane. The last drive by CJ should have had Melo in the corner. Instead he’s at the elbow trying to post up and his defender can help.

    Next possession doesn’t even bother guarding his man. This type of stuff would get Nas benched immediately. But with Melo it doesn’t even matter because we made a “commitment” to his awful play.

    Melo walking on D...

    No way Melo should be playing over Little at this point. The fact of the matter is, this franchise is prioritizing preserving Melo’s legacy over winning actual games.

    someone explain to me the point of enes playing drop coverage when he barely contests shots at the rim. if he's gonna be a turnstile, id rather he muck up stuff at the 3pt line

    We could be building chemistry with the guys that are actually going to play in the playoffs. Instead we are still prioritizing Melo climbing the scoring list.

    But he'd have a much higher chance of success trapping, hedging, or icing the pick n roll.

    He has no chance of success dropping and dealing with an oncoming 2v1.
