Lmao Terry had the audacity to stay Jones and RoCo instead of Melo in the 4th.

The quarter got out of control after Nurk had to sit.

Giles is very mobile, Stotts could've decided to play him and pressure the screen, but didn't. I told you this would happen with Kanter being dropped off screens. Stotts still played him WITH Melo, saw it get demolished, then called a timeout and made ZERO adjustments!!!!!

Now is where fight tooth and nail to claw back in it only to end up short because we’re gassed from the big comeback

People see the difference in how we play with Nurkic and without him and think the he's the reason the difference is there when it's flawed decision making and coaching as much as anything else.

    Saying this for years
This feels more and more and more to me like an incarnation of the Blazers nearing its end. I just get a sense like I did with the Felton/Crawford team that management felt desperate to have to make a big move to try to win right then, and, as desperation moves are apt to do, it failed and brought everything down and the team had to be rebuilt.

This just looks like we threw all of our resources at the wall hoping something would stick. Next year, it's going to be awfully hard to extricate ourselves from this with no first-round draft pick, little cap room, a very good chance of losing Powell and DJJ for nothing.

I wouldn't be shocked to see a Blazer team next season that is totally unrecognizable to us. It just feels to me like the Lillard/Olshey/Stotts era has run its course, it's gone as far as it can go, and maybe the best thing to do is rip it down sooner rather than later and start again from scratch.

Giles would've been a better (not great) option other than Kanter, I agree. Double failure by Stotts and Olshey.

I’m convinced a lot of our issues would be solved if we just stopped playing Melo entirely.

Watch them cut the lead to single digits then Stotts will put Melo in...

I will say, of the 41 threes we've taken, at least 30 of them were good looks by good shooters. We made 1-2 of the bad attempts, but 8-30 on good looks is not going to cut it.
