LMAO. We've beaten two above .500 teams in the last two months, and one of them was against the 29-28 Heat who were missing Dragic and Butler, so we've essentially beaten one good team the last two months, and that's the 7th place Mavs who beat us the following game by 40.
Lol. You totally nitpicks the schedule. We are 1-11 against these other good teams lol Utah 0-2 Clippers 0-2 Suns 0-2 Bucks 0-2 Denver 0-1 Celtics 0-1 Miami 1-1
This is me being serious. You should wake up. This is just a public cry for help from someone who is self deceiving. You're not deceiving any of us with this bullshit but you are either one of the funniest trolls ever or you're a little fucked up when it comes to this stuff. We've had a few really impressive wins this season but only a few. The vast majority of our wins have been against teams who there is actually no way we'll face in the playoffs. Ask yourself, do you think we'll face the upstart Pelicans? Obviously there is no Harden-led Rockets team. Will we likely see the Raptors or even the Hawks? So really, we've looked alright against the Warriors, Lakers and Mavs... very unlikely that we'll see the Mavs or Warriors in anything but play-in games but it's far more likely than those other teams. In your mind, I know we could meet the Sixers in the finals (which is sad but fine). The Lakers could be a first round opponent. Maybe we can reign in that self fooling imagination of yours just a little and say something like, "If we have to play the Warriors or Mavs in the play-ins, at least we have winning records against those guys and if the Pelicans make a run we've really got them." Also you could say something like, "If the miraculous happens and we somehow find our way to the finals against the Sixers we'll know we've gone undefeated against them." Probably the most helpful for you would be to say, "Even though if we have to face the Lakers we'll probably lose, we can find some hope in the fact that we've beat them as many times as they've beaten us." Just some stuff like that.
Regular season series win has no bearing on how those teams will do in playoffs. OKC was 4-0 against us 2018-19.
Combining both lists gives a 15-14 record against good teams. Pretty solid for a team who aspires to be good themselves.
