Oh, okay disregard everything I just said. The jurors will be instructed to ignore the statement they just heard in detail.

    Thanks.

Already lost my #1, which was the daylight basement. Really wanted the space, but adding 1600 Sq ft from the existing house, from 2 going to 4 car garage, as well as a yard. I do not think I said no to any of her wants.

Only issue we had is she takes forever to make decisions. With COVID-19, it took 3 weeks between times to visit the design studio. So that our house was not delayed another three weeks, I tried speeding her decisions up on small issues. Got everything done but she was not happy with me for a few days.

Meth heads will come in when you are gone and pull all the 2x4s out of your walls and sell them. Then the next time the wind blows, your house falls down.

My cousin's girlfriend's uncle's coworker's UPS driver had that happen to her.

My parents built a home 20 years ago to all their specifications. It seemed like a ton of work and constant communication.

I think at the time they bought the house for $260k. They’re looking to downsize and have it for sale for $680.

Housing prices have got to cap out at some point

One of my best friends lives there. Frequents all the restaurants and bars in the downtown area. Some really good restaurants there.

I have heard that building right now is adding something like $60k simply because of the cost of lumber.

Yep, and it'll probably take some time for the costs to normalize again. I had goals of buying either a modest house or some land sometime in the last year, but the shit hit the fan (hours were cut by close to 60% of normal) and house prices skyrocketed and so did land prices and lumber.

So I'll guess I'll continue to live in HCP's crawl space.

Yes, there is. I've been there many times. Even got a flu shot there once which they were offering to anyone over 55 for free and I had too much trouble getting a free one from the VA and I was taking a blood thinner which meant the VA required me to get an INR test showing my clotting time which was not free.

With the real estate frenzy going on, my wife has suddenly got the hankering to sell our house (at a significant profit) and maybe build. I'm, like, with the price of lumber these days, we may very well be better off purchasing a pre-owned home. Still working through all of that. The thought of building on some land outside the subdivisions, etc., is awfully appealing, though.
