The oral polio vaccine was tested on humans.

The inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) was available first, given as a shot, in 1955. A more convenient form, called oral polio vaccine (OPV), was given as liquid drops via the mouth. It was developed in 1961. OPV was recommended for use in the United States for almost 40 years, from 1963 until 2000. The results have been miraculous: Polio was eliminated from the United States in 1979 and from the Western Hemisphere in 1991.

I don't think Bill Gates is going to get rich selling polio vaccines to the wealthy countries.

You have to understand, the goal of the vaccines is to force third-world citizens into doing tech support for Microsoft. The microchip in the vaccine turns them into human Clippy's.

Thought by who to be vaccine derived? The same vaccine was used in the U.S. with startling effectiveness. Are the people in Africa genetically different? Answer - Absolutely not.
Better check with a more reliable source.

I don't mean this in a rude way, but that is just a very simplistic take. Is Gates an incredible capitalist? You bet. But he's so much more than that. Your take is kind of like me saying, "Jonnyboy is just a knucklehead on an Internet form." (Note: we all are that.) But that is not who you are, what you do; you are so much more than that, right?

One example: "Claims of generosity"? He's given away more than 1/3 of his net worth, some $35 billion. That's with a B.

I would suggest you read up on him a bit. You might be surprised. He's literally a genius trying to solve some of the most intractable problems the planet has right now.

If everyone wore masks and socially distanced. But not everyone was on board with flattening the curve.

Masks weren't recommended at the time of "Two Weeks to Flatten the Curve". It was a total and complete shutdown of the economy other than non-essential workers.

    Nope:

“It’s the free spirit of people in the United States, who understandably felt so cooped up for so long, jobs were lost, the economy went down, so that was almost an all-or-none revolution saying either were going from shutdown to all bets are off,” he said.

However, Fauci reiterated that any congregation will only increase the risk of transmission and infection. To mitigate the damage, he urges people to wear masks.

    and

Fauci also clarified that the Chinese government exercised lockdowns that are impossible in the U.S., a country with stronger human rights liberties.

“You have to look at what China did in the beginning that we never would be able to do in a democratic place where people have a free spirit, namely essentially completely lock down a country,” he explained. “I mean, in a way that was very imposing on human rights. We'd never be able to do that in this country.”

Specifically not talking about lockdowns, talking about wearing masks.

We never actually "locked down." We had stay-at-home orders, which are pretty different from the lockdowns seen in other parts of the world. Non-essential businesses were closed, but people weren't essentially under house arrest, which is what a lockdown really means.

And masks weren't suggested at first because experts were worried that a run on masks by the general public would lead to mask shortages for doctors/nurses/first responders. Pretty soon after that, masks became highly recommended any time you were out of the house and likely to be in close proximity with other people.
