I feel like I was at a Blazer game where Tim Thomas torched us and hit 8 threes; I believe he was playing for the Bucks.

That was far more uncommon 20 years ago.

You have hit on the 800-pound gorilla in a bull in a China shop.

3 years in, his body is still pencil thin, like Zach Collins. Now that PG is a lost dream, can Simons survive as a weightless 6-3 SG? Or will he be injury-riddled? It's a riddle wrapped in a conunumbrumal enigma.

Nice to see him being used in his proper role--three point specialist shooting guard. His defense even looked less shitty than usual tonight.

Yet another guy, though, who will not receive the minutes he needs because of Melo.

I think he will last due on offense he don't take it to hoop much yet and think that where a small guy gets majority of his pounding.

Blazer fans: world's best at taking something good and finding the shitty in it. Every little fluffy cloud has a turd lining.

It will be fun to bump this thread in a couple of years from now and see if he's still 21.

I'm planning on bumping this on June 8th and pointing out how dumb this thread is.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
The Blazers are great at drafting three-point shooting specialists who look like they should be able to do a lot more.

Allen Crabbe, Gary Trent Jr...Anfernee Simons?

Then the team has to syphon his blood out and give it to Damian Lillard!

Luke Babbitt says don't forget about me

Martell was the classic though. That shooting stroke of his was about the prettiest ever and if the result matched the style he would have been a 55% shooter from three. Sadly, no. Still kind of strange he retired from the NBA at 28. I don't remember if he was getting injured a lot or if he just aged out early

Kenny Smith brought it up after the dunk contest, but why can't Simons seem to get to the rim during games?
