Duncan Robinson didn’t come into the NBA until he was 24 and is now 27. Ant is putting up better 3pt shooing (44% vs 40%) this year and he’s over 5 years younger than Robinson. I’ll take that all day long for a player on a rookie contract with 2 years to go until an extension kicks in.

He’d be a senior in college right now. It’s not like he was taken with a Top 5 pick, so most people who follow the NBA knew it was going to take time for a 19 year-old who didn’t even play college to find how to fit his game into the flow of the NBA.

Even if he’s just a bigger and more athletic Seth Curry at his peak, that’s a value pick considering where Neil drafted him and makes for a long NBA career on good teams.

Damn....that made me miss Calabro. Compared to what we have now, I miss him even more.

I think Ant and Trent Jr. are our guards of the future!

At 21 years old, with no college experience, Anfernee is a top tier 3 point shooter in the NBA. He's extremely quick and athletic. He has good handles. His BBIQ and defense are slowly improving. His next big steps will be gaining strength and learning to take the ball to the basket against NBA athletes. I think it's too early to conclude he won't be able to improve in those areas. My hopes remain high.

Out of all qualified >/= 40% 3-point shooters, only Darius Garland and Tyrese Halliburton are younger. Both of them were Lottery picks. I’m pumped to see Ant develop now that he has dead weight GTJ and his piss-poor attitude gone.

What was wrong with Trent's attitude?

Calabro tried to excite us by yelling emotionally. Now we have a debonair gentleman.

    Very good points.

Physically, he's already filled a lot out since when he was drafted.

He's already probably in better physical shape to handle NBA contact than rookie Dame, age 22:

He hasn't been able to translate that added muscle to the NBA game yet, but it could come.

I'm pretty happy with his progress this year--I'd kind of given up on the guy after last season. If he improves not one single bit going forward, he's a Seth Curry-level player, which is a pretty good get for where he was drafted. Curry's on his 9th season, age 30, and probably has 2-4 good years left.

He has the physical tools and 3 point shooting to be a superstar. I kind of doubt he has the mental game to get there, but there's at least a small chance. Optimistically, he falls in the CJ/Jamal Crawford range, but who knows?

Let's see some leg. That's what bowls over Zach Collins.

Do you realized how close Duncan Robinson is being guarded this year? Players are sticking to him no matter what. Regardless though, it’s exciting to see Simons success with his 3 point shot
