    Yes, I like this theory!

If Nate would've only played Oden 4 minutes vs Houston on Dec 5th, 2009, he'd still be healthy today!

I say we go 6-1 the rest of the way. 42-30 is good enough to avoid play-in.

The Blazers run out of gas in Atlanta and have their win streak snapped. The Blazers Uprise Postgame Show will discuss whether or not you can chalk this one up to just running out of steam. Join us and talk about the game!

it never ceases to amaze me the level of stupidity people here tolerate to defend our dumbass coach. it's like y'all don't pay attention to anything outside this blazer bubble and jordan kent singing praises.

ANY coach worth a damn would have shut down all his starters tonight. This was an obvious loss, and risking injury for this game was not necessary, especially with LA AND DAL losing last night. And people are OK with him bringing Dame in with 7 minutes left while down 18 tonight? After he'd been getting knocked around all game? Playing 8 guys is defensible?

People OK with this crap deserve him.

Basketball 101: Do not double one pass away on the strong side especially if that offensive player hit the most 3’s in the month of April.

    Stotts: Hold my beer…

It was a 15 point game with 7 minutes left when Dame came in. That is a winnable game and we can't afford to take a game off with how tight the standings are. Plus, Dame really had it going tonight. It would've been uncompetitive to not bring him back in.

I'm glad youre ok risking Dame's health to protect Stotts. That guy is running lillard into the ground to save his job.

He didn't run Dame into the ground. He played him 33 minutes. He had his foot stepped on. If you're afraid of that, then you can't play your best player ever. It wasn't an overuse injury. Relax.

Eric is actually being reasonable for once - 15 points with 7 minutes to go, we've done it before. Trae Young played till the final buzzer for Atlanta in the same game.

100+ points given up through 3 quarters 2 games in a row.

The problems haven't gone away... just bring masked a bit.

We had perimeter defenders benched against a team that scores almost exclusively on the perimeter.

It has gotten old playing the same set in stone rotation every game. It is as if Stotts is too afraid to lose so he wont mix things up from time to time.

The Team just didn't play very well tonight. I kind of wish they would have rested a bunch of starters and let the bench mob play this game.

I'd argue, the winning streak was in part because Stotts shortened the rotation.

well, the Blazers did have a 4 game win streak. But it is also the same team that is 4-6 over the last 10 games, and 6-10 over the last 16.

that old saying about a team not being as good as it's best game, nor as bad as it's worst game probably applies to the previous 9 games. That being that Portland isn't as bad as that 5 game losing streak, or as good as the 4 game winning streak.
