okay i take it back. Call me a biased individual. I change my stance. No sales to dogs with low balls!!
Man... I wont be able to get the wife to buy in on that! Tv's are so much hard to shop for than they used to be. I'm contemplating a projector. For the barn. I just don't want to buy something else and still not be happy.
amazon delivers to my barn and has easy returns too. Buuutt. I dont like supporting them. so is costco kicking you down for your push? You getting tvs cheaper than us by getting us to shop there?
Right??? What is the deal with getting a few boxes at that place? They treat them like they are gold or something.
Don't care for St. Louis ribs. Any meat lover knows the real flavor of meat comes from the part nearest the bone.
I wouldn't do it because I find the picture to be a little fuzzy and I need a really sharp picture because of my poor eyesight. The picture is also a little faded. If there's any light in the room the picture will be faded. Also, the best projectors are in the $3,000 to $4,000 range while you can get a really good LED for half that amount. I would go with an LED TV.
thats close to accurate. But there is also the power of the instrument that may dictate. And/or specific angles. For example i have a nice sure beta 52 and an audix B2 on the kick drum. One in and one out. in the snare i have an sm57 on the top and a thin cardaroid on the bottom. For the overheads its part of the audix drum set. For guitar i also use an sm57 and then a seinheiser on the other side. For vox, i have all stations set up with beta58’s. We record live at times still so cant have a condenser for volumes other than when only recording vox. That is until i get the vocal booth done. I need to start putting together a lsit of equipment to get uploaded on the soon to be ob studios recording website. the meat is the neve1073 opx. When recording final tracks i send them through this raw. not sure yet how final sound will be and whether i xan do post mixing at my place or have to hand them over to a guy like Kevin Hahn at Opal Studios, who advised me a bit on my studio. still testing my first few songs out, tracking wise. Dialing in the capture, etc.
I picked up the 77" LG CX OLED a few months back. And OH MY GOODNESS! It gets no better than this! Seriously, if you can justify the price, it's incredible.
Yeah, I got the hook-up from Video Only so it wasn't quite that much, but OLED comes at a price for sure.
sure is still the industry standard for being the best bang for the buck on thier mics. Go into 90% of clubs and it will be 57’s and 58’s.
lol. Really there are two types of mics. Powered and non powered. Powered mics require 48v phantom and are used for picking up everything aNd are very sensitive. Generally used on cymbals(drum overheads). then you have standard mics like the sures. They also pick up everything but arent so hot. But then each of these two have subgrades. Some will be to only pickup sounds directly in front, while others will pick up sounds for a 180* range or so. Some are for picking up distant sounds and some are for sounds up close and omit sounds further away. So i suppose my point is. There really is no one mic good for everything, but there is always the right mic for the situation or layout of the studio/stage.
those are as good as it gets. My Neve is also about as good as it gets. But its my only top end pc currently but also the most important. I do need to pick up a couple of top shelf mics, but one step at a time.
