Here is a chart of incorrect calls in last two minutes since 2015. Appears Lillard had about 30 calls in that time period where he got ripped off and about 20 where he got the benefit of bad calls.
Biggest benefactors of bad calls seem to be Harden and KAT; as a ratio between the two, Horford did pretty well.

Lamelo Ball. Partially because of him, partially because the media is already obsessed with him. Doncic isnt a bad pick either.

Well the media thing isn't his fault.

I actually find him fun to watch. Just as long as I watch it on anything other than the Hornets broadcast lol

Mostly not his fault. But the media tends to like focusing on guys like Ball/his family, etc. Kardashian effect. I can’t stand the guy.

Lol I understand that. I hated Lonzo ball for all the wrong reasons except that he was a Laker, so...

Sports teams appreciate in value (obviously) so quickly and have been guaranteed to make a little money every year for decades. The NBA is popular. That's why I don't buy all of this "Blazers For Sale" shit. If Jodie wanted to cash in the value of this team it would be a huge amount of money probably over 2B. So that's a great investment for the ARod group.

That's like betting on the housing market to always go up no matter what, and buying in at a high point in a sketchy neighborhood that'll take ten years to get back to that level if the area develops the way you hope.

The Timberwolves are only a good investment if the new ownership group thinks they can turn the franchise around. Perpetual doormats shouldn't be selling for near big-market prices. The Clippers look like a serious bargain all of a sudden. Anyone know where Minny ranks in terms of profitability?

Except the sports team bubble has literally never burst. Maybe it's because owners are so rich that they never have to sell when it would be a loss but it's never happened in basketball. In the near 30 years that Paul Allen/his trust has owned the team they went from 70M to ~2B. That's like thirty times or a 3000% return on investment. An ira over thirty years assuming the market does really well, which unlike NBA teams the stock market hasn't always done well, would yield 800M over thirty years on a 70M investment. So you see, it is a great investment. People aren't going to stop watching sports... their just not going to. The fact that there are competing interests out there has been way more than offset by the increase in population.

For a little perspective on the Wolves, they sold for 152M in 1994.

You're ignoring the part about Minny being a failure of a franchise. Portland has long been among the more profitable ones.

I would like to see this graph with CJ on it? Funny thing CJ doesn't get many calls good or bad?

Crazy week? I stay up watching Laker games that all come down to the last possession on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then On Thursday we all watch the Blazers come down to the last Possession.
Please tell me the Blazers will be on the kind side of one of these eventually? Been a pretty bleak month on really close games?
Any one of those one possession games vs the Clippers, Nuggets or Grizzlies would have been a win they could have used.
You can't just blame the standings on one game or one possession in the NBA.
