Some interesting playoff matchups.

Islanders not winning last night in regulation could prove costly. Penguins pretty much handed their ass to them this year in the regular season.

 

Florida/TB could really be a good in-state battle. Maybe we have a Matthews/McD 2nd round matchup.

 

I would love to see Florida win a playoff series and go on a good run. I am rooting for them.

 

Good wins by the Isles and Caps to start their series. The two series from our division are great. The losers I think are going to need to do some soul searching this summer as age and cap concerns start creeping up. Flip a coin on both series I think as they are both razor close, hence two OT games to start.

I'm really looking forward to the TB-Fla series. I would love to see Fla win, but you have to favor TB I think.

 

I think Florida finds a way to beat TB and also Toronto, with the Caps beating the Isles in 7, setting up a Fla/Wash EC final.

 

I hope so, I want that Florida team to make a run. It would be fun and some new blood.

 

Wild- Knights also going to OT. 3 games, 3 OT's. Have to love the NHL playoffs.
