There are no foregone conclusions in the NBA. Minnesota has played well since getting healthy. They've been 6-5 in their last 11 games and climbing the standings so they aren't tanking. Towns, Edwards, and Russell have been playing at a high level. I think you absolutely have to consider that scenario.

By the way, illmatic, Lakers would have to lose too for us to get 5th so that def seems unlikely but you never know and SVG has said he is trying to win every game.

Depending on what Orlando does, Minny could either enter a coin flip for 50% odds of keeping a top 4 lottery pick, or lose it altogether to GS.

They would be incredibly stupid to not tank tonight.

We're talking about Minnesota here. If they wanted to tank, they would've lost more over these last few weeks. They have been climbing the standings. Why would they tank tonight when they could've tanked long ago?

By the way, illmatic, Minnesota has beaten Utah twice (home and away) and Golden State over these last few weeks. That doesn't look like a tanking team.

I’m not worried about the Clippers. Fuck them. We can beat them.

Clippers are flawed and mentally weak. We can definitely beat them. We've beaten Beverly and PG3 before...

    Woah...

Where did you get that number? How did they define "leaned hard into the 'double/trap-get-the-ball-out-of-Dame's-hands defense"?

Or you could say we are Dame's one missed FT away from Winning that game, Or Maybe if Nurk doesn't get a tech they don't get that point and we are one Nurk Tech away from a win. how about Nurk gets one offensive rebound in the entire game and put's it back and now we are one Nurk Offensive Rebound from winning. Lots of reason they lost that game besides RoCo missing 2 FT's.

My understanding is that if you score more points than the opposing team you win.

[QUOTE="garbagetime, post: 5158818, member: 30192" The Clippers are just chicken shit ballerinas. [/QUOTE]
Ballerinas typically begin training by age five or earlier. By puberty they spend 8 hours a day or more practicing the same steps thousands of times until they are perfect. Ballet requires forcing the body into unnatural positions requiring great strength, and they have to make it look effortless. They work long past the point where legs are numb and feet bleeding. They know that among the small number in professional training, only about ten percent ever make it into professional companies. Because of the intense level of competition, they require absolute dedication and total discipline. If the Blazers had that kind of drive I wouldn't worry about tonight's game.

I don’t think we should lose but it’s not the end of the world if we do.

I took 4 years of ballet in college. It’s hard.

Memphis did it first in 2015: 1-4 (Courtney Lee, Tony Allen, Mike Conley with Gasol & Green trapping PnR)
Warriors did it in the next 2 playoffs: 1-8
    Pels did it: 0-4
Warriors did again in 2019: 0-4 (Blazers have lost 10 in a row to GS in playoffs)
    Lakers last year: 1-4

    3-24

I define it by the defenses I saw
