Your last two words are the problem with some people. I'm going to use "you" but that's not directed at "you" Riverman. Anyone who has worn a mask and sneezed or tried to blow out a candle or something would know that wearing a mask limits how far your snot/saliva/germs/whatever are projected out into the air. It's not perfect, but if you think wearing a mask isn't more effective than not wearing one then you lack any ability to have common sense in a discussion. If you want to have a discussion about how long we should continue wearing them or situations where you shouldn't have to that is different, but if your stance is "masks don't do anything" then there is no point in listening to anything those people have to say because they're simply choosing to be ignorant on purpose. When it comes to the vaccine, I get why some are concerned it seems rushed (even though it really wasn't). I get that people don't trust government. Then you see people (some in this thread) try to spread misinformation and change their argument simply because they're completely locked in against taking it under any circumstances. If everyone was using common sense here we don't know what will be worse in 5/10/20 years, taking the vaccine or the long term effects of Covid. It's just as likely that those who got the virus but had no symptoms could have infertility issues (or whatever long term effect you wanna insert) down the road as it being a side effect of the vaccine. The people refusing the vaccine because it hasn't been tested long term are almost all also saying that they'll be fine if they get Covid, which no one knows yet either. It doesn't make sense and as Riverman put it if people just used a little common sense it would go a long way.
Don't, I repeat, don't turn your back on Sly. He's crafty and he's mean. He once roped me into helping him steal candy from a baby.
Then you could have a new rule. Vaccinated people pay $0 rent, unvaccinated people pay $5000/mo. barfo
Hey man. A cat doesn't mess with his honey hole. @SlyPokerDog has a nice honey hole. If you know what I mean.
