and the first half we kept Jokic to zero assists and Melo tied the game with 15 pts in a handful of minutes....second half Jokic got his only assist.....he avgs over 8 a game.

We will need a very good Melo in the second half. CJ has to take a turn to get hot as well.

maybe we need to run a few plays through Nurkic, just to wear down Jokic! He’s having his way with us and we must figure out a way to make it more tiring for him

Might have been Melo’s worst game as Blazer. Forced shots, was scorched on defense and dumb flagrant as soon as he came in game. Speaking of that I remember when it was a mans game and small push wasn’t considered a flagrant foul......one of the worst officiated games I’ve seen

Melo giveth and he taketh away...and the cosmic ledger for Blazer-Melo is way into the red

and speaking of the wimpification of the NBA, I remember something that Maurice Lucas said when he was asked if the NBA was getting soft. I'm paraphrasing because I can't remember the exact quote; it was something like "when I played it was a 50 dollar fine for punching somebody so why not?"

obviously, that's sarcasm that ignores the darker side of fighting (just ask Rudy Tomjanovich), but it does illustrate that the NBA has probably gone a little too far in policing confrontation

I texted Eric during game 1 and said "we got good melo"

I did not text him during game 2 and said "bad melo". I have regrets. lol. I also missed most of the game cause of work. :/

That Denver crowd did not let up booing Melo game 2 from the time he hit the court...you could hear it through the radio broadcast....Denver fans were all over that game and loud. I like revenge game Melo coming back home and going off with more fans in Moda this time...we really only had a couple players who were on their game in that loss....no walk in the park games in the playoffs....this series is going to test both teams

I agree. No easy games in the Playoffs ever.
