And yet he has managed to average FOUR TIMES the rebounds of Powell, along with nearly twice the points.

Yeah, when CJ joined Lillard in Dame's second year it just absolutely stunted Dame's game.

So maybe itd be a good idea to play a more aggressive defensive scheme when down 10 to force some turnovers and get some quick runnouts but we dont do that.

Why do people act like he's so undersized? He's not an undersized SG. He has an 8'7 standing reach. Is Aaron Gordon an undersized 4 with his 8'9 standing reach?

He was the only Blazer outside of Lillard who was aggressively attacking.

It’s really too bad he gets voided out of the offense at times because it’s the Lillard and CJ show

He has a 8'-6.5" standing reach while the guy he's primarily guarding (or who is guarding him) is 9'-0.5". That's a BIG difference.

Nobody would argue that you need to get stops when you're down but in that game we were the team turning the ball over and that was the difference in our whole game...they made us lose momentum over and over.....Denver played a great game and we didn't but that's not how we got here. One game at a time.

Not talking about 7 years ago. Talking about right now.

Norm is a better fit for this team (i.e. the whole team, not just dame) than CJ. And im not moving from that stance because it's so blantaly obvious.

Exactly. He should be guarding Aaron Gordon like I said from the onset.

Kind of amazing we got him for just Gary Trent and the ghost of Rodney Hood, really.

you highlighted points but failed to add the context of FGA. CJ has averaged 6 more attempts in order to score those 7.5 more points. It hasn't been equal opportunity

CJ shot well in game 2, but in the first two games, he played shitty floor games, mainly when going full MeJ; and he's failed badly at running the offense. That's a big reason why Dame had to average 41 minutes, at elevation. Good thing there's an extra day's rest before game 3

He also left out the part where Norm is averaging .5 turnovers per game, while CJ and Dame are averaging 3.5

    Not Nurk?

    Not CJ?

    Not Melo?

The chart shows they are actually averaging 2.5 turnovers.

The raw turnover number can be a bit misleading. Dame is actually doing really well considering the weight he's carrying. 4.6Ast/TO is great. Norm has a 4.0Ast/TO. While CJ is at 1.0Ast/TO.

Yup, sorry about that. Thought I saw 3.5 yesterday when I was looking through.
