that's because it's happened 4 years in a row. Before that it was three 1-4's in a row. If you're keeping track that's 4-28
Since stotts doesn’t make adjustments denver in 5. This team doesn’t have a bench. Jones jr and little getting no minutes and we need defense but hey lets play kanter...
4-28 sounds worse than it is. If you go to the playoffs every year and don’t win the title, you lose 4 games in the last series. So 28 losses is nothing unless you’ve been expecting a dynasty. 4 wins is upsetting though.
No idea. This team looked left for dead last year prior to the epidemic, then looked like entirely different in the bubble. Deja vu this year, comparing April to our final few weeks. Just when you think they're out....you know the rest. They'll probably lose game 4 and get down 3-1. Then improbably win games 5,6 to tie it up and coin flip on game 7. Why, because that's what this team does.
I had the Nuggets in 6, so I'll stick with that and say that we'll pull out a win tomorrow but if we do lose tomorrows game my prediction will go out the window because we've rolled over in elimination games so many times.
Keep in mind the Nuggets came back from a 3-1 deficit TWICE last season. Anything is possible. That said, if we lose tomorrow it's over.
Dang this place sure is negative? This guy has called Denver in 6 like 10 times now? We got people betting against the Blazers. We got other telling us how much they have told us the team sucks like 20 times in the same thread. You would think some positive vibes would do the team some good. Sure hope the players don't read this forum.
c'mon man...it's just the reaction to 2 bad losses in a row. If you want positive, go read the game thread from the 1st game. People were plenty positive and talking about a sweep. It was loopy, over-the-top stuff, much like now I don't think Portland will win the series....the roster flaws have never been addressed by the GM, and the coach is not an answer man. But, it's possible today will be the start of a 3 game win streak by the Blazers....just like it's possible the Blazers are in the process of losing their last 4 games in the playoffs for the 5th year in a row. Given recent history of this team, the latter seems more likely...that's where many are reacting from personally, I don't believe Denver will be as hot from three today as game 3, or that Portland will be as cold. Just that might tilt the scale in Portland's favor
Look were we sit now. This series might be lost still but they ain't done yet! Start thinking positive!
Oh hey, Denver's 3-Pt shooting came back down to earth! And Portland attacked the rack in G4. POSITIVE VIBES ONLY. Blazers in SIX.
