It always seems to boil down to 2 things.

Sexuality (ha! you're less man than I am, you ***!) and race ("half breed").

Despite what many will have you believe, this is a racist and sexist culture by nature. What is the point of bringing up implied sexuality? It makes it easier to dehumanize the other. Same with racism. like, why does it matter that his family is "half breed" or whatever? why would anyone ever feel the need to bring it up, unless to them, it's an issue. And if it's an issue, that's pretty much the clearest sign of someone's true self.

I feel like this is both sides because our downtown has been terrorized for a solid year now.

Let's try to keep politics out of this. I want this to be able to stay in the main forum.

I get it Chris, but it’s hard for it not to end up including other aspects of social culture when we are talking about human behavior.

Yeah, that pisses me off. The one fan that got away with it did it against us. I looked and could find nothing on that fan being banned or anything. Dude even made a video of himself doing that and posted it online. Yet, nothing.

Will this fan be at Game 5 and be able to do the same shit?

My last 3 times actually attending a Blazer game with my wife and kids soured me so bad, I’ll never take them to another game. Obnoxious, drunk, ignorant fans in the stands surrounding us. It was ridiculous. Drunk people spilling beers on my wife and daughter.....cussing and screaming after EVERY whistle complaining the whole damn game. I squared off with a 35 year old dude because he kept touching and trying to talk to my daughter. Luckily we were right in front of the media section and they let me bring my family up there to sit.
Same thing happened to us at a Duck and Timber game.
You guys can have that shit. I’ll watch on TV.

Drunk arrogant fans have ruined the in person experience for all sports games. It's probably the #3 reason why I don't like going to live games (obnoxious fans who take themselves/the sports too seriously being the #1 reason).

And before @THE HCP cracks at me for the #2 reason, it's because of the cost.

    don't be that person John...

You gotta really like your fellow humans to want to get in a room with 20,000 of them.

    And I don't. 2 maybe. Not 20. And 20,000? Hell no.

Airplane flights are experiencing the same dilemma. We just returned from DC and SW Air has suspended all alcohol.

Two reasons why it's become worse.

People have been cooped up for a year with few outlets for hostility.

For years we were told repeatedly basic decency was political correctness and wokeness, very bad things. The ruder and nastier the better. Don't disagree with someone, lock her up or hang him.
