If CJ were to be traded, who are we most likely to get?

I was thinking about this last night... but he hasn't worked with PG13, with Harden, and Beal.... I don't think he would here either.

No. The Westbrook / Harden experiment didn't work out all that well. I wouldn't expect that Dame/Westbrook would be any better.

RW playing point guard in the 4th quarter is a bad idea. With Dame, he wouldn't have to be.

Don't think you can get it to work with the contracts under the CBA.

I'm assuming Embiid, Simmons, & Harris are off limits.

They'd have to send out ~$22-23M in contracts to get CJ on the team. The only contracts of size they have are Hill ($10M) & Curry ($8M). Thus it would have to be a 6 for 1 deal.
Even these 5 players don't have enough salary to make a trade legal:

    Random Note:
Looking over Washington's roster and cap situation, the only thing that makes sense is to keep Danny and Rui, and dump the rest - Beal included.

The Mavs can swap Porzingis for CJ. Underachiever for underachiever swap.

Ingram would be a coup. He's still got untapped potential on the defensive end. Was a monster on that side of the ball in LA before going over to NO.

Randle in a S&T would also be nice. Siakam as well.

Siakam would take so many draft picks thrown in to even get the Raps' attention, I don't see that as realstic.

CJ is only getting you back distressed, overpaid assets. Kevin Love, Porzingis, Steven Adams, Horford and Hield type contracts. Maybe a young prospect or pick thrown in.

The only hope is a player like Beal or PG is disgruntled after a 1st round exit and forces the front office to make a quick move.

I would add Gordon Hayward to that list.

So many rumors about Neil, Stotts, CJ. Even ownership and Dame. If the Blazers loose the first round it's hard to speculate what might happen.

CJ to Philly doesn't make sense unless Harris is out. Philly wouldn't go for this one, but CJ/Jones (if he opts in) for Harris/Thybulle works.

If Powell re-signed, this team would be very balanced.

    Lillard/Simons
    Powell/Thybulle
    Covington
    Harris/Little
    Nurkic/Collins

CJ for Kevin Love might be the best we’ll do...

We'd be better trading for expiring contracts...
