brother, you said hes under contract for the next year and i said that he can ask for a trade if he doesnt want to be on this team blazers can accept the request and trade him or tell him to fuck off, thats he whole point nurk wants to be back, just not if terry stotts is the head coach, he dont want to play for him, hes not happy with his role
I mean I'd like to keep Nurk I tend to agree with him that he isn't used properly at all and if used correctly he could be a total beast. However, I wouldn't cry if we look to trade him for a legit second star if at all possible (probably not). If we do keep Nurk hopefully first and foremost can remain healthy, but also needs to work on not getting into foul trouble and also needs to figure out how to stop missing easy gimme baskets.
I really like Nurk but he sounds like he wants a bigger role on offense. Unless we can a great big man coach and they can do something amazing with him I just see Nurk always being at most a 4th option. He's not a Jokic and if he thinks he is then it's time to say good bye.
I mean, if Nurk wants a bigger role, IMO, he could have played himself into it. He was a monster one out of every four games, it seemed. But you'd definitely get unengaged Nurk at least one of the other four. I'm not sure that's all on Stotts, as much as we wanted it to be. The Nuggets gave up on him for Plumlee for some reason. Even when you feel Jokic is going to be a star, that's not a heck of a lot of return for a guy with Nurk's age and upside.
That's horseshit and you know it. Before this game Nurk was leading the Blazers in +/-. We needed MORE Nurk this series - without his foul trouble we actually had a chance.
What is with this obsession with Karl Anthony Biggest Loser In History Towns? Talk about a team that's talented on paper but never does shit.
Trade idea: Nurkic + CJ + DJJ + 1st round pick For Sabonis + Turner + LaVert Dame / Ant Powell / La Vert / Elleby Kawhi/ Little / Melo Sabonis / Collins Turner / Kanter / Vet or Rookie
Nurk wants a bigger role going into a contract year I’m ready to move on, if he’s not hurt he’s in foul trouble
