Nurkic thinks to highly of himself - maybe we trade him. A package with CJ will get us one player of importance - let it be a big (Towns, Myles Turner).

First, we need to immediately see OLSHEY and Stotts go...and fast! Get a great GM / coach tandem that will pick this mess up and rock n roll.

In the words of coach Popovich...."You want the ball more?....go get it, it's right there"

They used to say that about Devin Booker and the Suns.

    Exactly...

Nurk comes into camp late, out of shape, and says he wanted a bigger role.

If you can succeed consistently with a lesser role, why should you be given a greater role? Seems like backwards logic to me.

Exactly, Stotts only trusted Dame and CJ, all others never get a chance. This sets a bad precedent. He didn’t even want to defend Nurk by challenging the foul

Fuck this. Waaaa I want the ball more. Stay in the game, be in great condition. They’ll pass you the ball. This is a pussy move by Nurk. Own your performance.

Nurk can play. I think he makes a lot of bone headed plays.

But with Stotts “system” it really relies on the guards to dribble the air out of the basketball and whatever Nurk can clean up, he cleans up.

I actually think running the offense through Nurk (which only happened rarely) was really effective. It doesn’t allow Lillard to be trapped and there’s more player movement
