Social media is as toxic as @THE HCP dirty bloomers right now.

The Laker stuff in particular - their roster is a pile of shit yet media pundits believe they have a chance.

That would be quite the show.

Probably best that he stays in Portland, though.

I think the Lakers could get Dame and it wouldn't even be that hard. They would just have to give us AD. Let CJ do what he does when Dame is out, re-sign Norm and roll with it as a contender.

For the record if I were the GM, there would be no player (even AD or Giannis) that I would trade for Dame because I'm emotionally attached to him but that would also make me a bad GM.

Emotions aside I still don’t think you trade Dame for AD. Way too many injuries.
Now Giannis? I think you consider that trade.

Yeah, injuries would be the only concern but if we traded for Dame for AD and the team was healthy then we'd be a better team. CJ and Dame hurt each others' games so badly, we would really see CJ blossom and be a much better number two guy to Davis' number one than he is to Dame right now. Fortunately, I don't think either side has interest in that trade. So we get to keep Dame and I like that.

Now if we could only find a nice home for CJ that got us a more complementary player for Dame in return.

No Question Anthony Davis is a game changer. It would be a really scary trade in my book. Given he fought calf/Achilles type strain all season and then went down again with a groin.
Could you hear the cry if they traded Dame and AD ruptured an Achilles?

How about we just lure LeBron here with Dame and send CJ to Davis? Just wishful thinking right?

I can’t stress enough how much I despise Smarts game, guy thinks he’s top 5 offensive player. Takes bad shot after bad shot and really think he’s a big reason for Boston’s tail spin

I'd rather hire Dame and trade Kidd.

The latest "inside" info is that Dame is undecided. Who knows the truth though? Only Dame.

If Dame wants out, then respect his wish and trade him.

He's my favorite player, but his value has never been higher and I'm skeptical we have the assets to build a contender around him. The team wasted too many assets in the past and now time's running out.

As much as it may hurt now, it may be best to trade Dame for a monster haul and re-build through the draft.

Understatement by the bolded part, but yes I think it's time...............ONLY if we can get a monster haul.

Except Klay Thompson wouldn't be there. All of the pictures showing Dame with the stars other teams aren't realistic, because even if we did trade Dame to these teams, some of other stars would have to come back in the trade and wouldn't be there.
