Another article where the fear of the team moving is mentioned. The NBA doesn’t leave markets with amazing attendance and money making arenas..
Did we ever actually receive non-woj tweets and confirmed sources on the Harden thing? Also, prickard.... I mean Pritchard was the problem for that. I dont blame olshey for that. Olshey does need to be fired. He's been an absolute joke here for years and treats the fans and media like they are morons cause we know he doesn't care about winning. If he did, stotts would have been gone 5 years ago regardless.
Funny, if I didn't want to play for a team I wouldn't wear their stuff.... Plus , when has he ever been a talker?
Yikes? There was a whole fucking movement on Twitter and Facebook and everywhere else “@Dame telling him about Kidd & Billups” If anything, if I were Dame, I’d be more annoyed at our bitchy ass fan base than anything else. People were @ing him telling him how they lost respect for him permanently, we’re gonna cancel tickets and a bunch of other non sense. If I were him, I’d never comment again and watch as fans bitch about that. Just like he did.
I never got the backlash about him wanting Kidd. Kidd as a coach? Yes, I had an issue with that... but that shouldn't have made people so angry at Dame himself. That made no sense. Hope he's still loyal after all that uncalled for bs by some of the fans. Direct it at Kidd, or the organization.. but not Dame. You know he's loyal to Oakland for fucks sake.
So embarrassing, as if these billion dollar franchises don’t vet their candidates. Thank god for little Ben Fuckstick doing a google search.
Honestly I didn’t bring it up because it’s so ridiculous but some of the comments were about how he must hate the women in his family and stuff. Talking bout the same guy that had an article written or some other piece about how he goes out of his way to hang with the women (think it was an article about Hammon) because he thinks they don’t get enough love and he knows how difficult it is for them in an environment that is predominantly men. that’s why I’d request a trade if I were him. As soon as my so called “fans” start questioning MY integrity, I’d be like deuces mf’s. And as someone else put it... @the blazers don’t flood damians mentions. Absolutely laughable.
It's embarrassing. Its one thing to stand up for a cause you believe in, but to be so paranoid to think someone -- someone who hasn't had a shred of doubt in terms of how he treats others -- wanted a coach who had a checkered past means he's some sort of apologist for Kidd and domestic violence.. gtfo with this shit. Wouldn't blame him either if that was some sort of tipping point for him. You gave this franchise and its fans 9 years of your life as a model player and citizen, then the FIRST TIME IN 9 YEARS he makes a suggestion that could be even minutely construed as something negative and people jump down his throat. Like... come the fuck on. The man has more than built up the cache... and this isn't even an issue in the first place!!! God damn.
the irony is there has been a loud choir of people, for years now, saying Dame has been too accepting of the status quo; that he should speak out on management decisions; that bad decisions have been allowed to stand because he doesn't speak out. That he was the one keeping Stotts in his job so then, after a bitter loss in the playoffs, Dame speaks out and is pilloried for doing so. can't win
He has a couple years left on his contract, and Im sure he plans on fulfilling it. Everybody needs to look after themselves with respect to career & family. He has earned the right to be vocal if he wants.
Quick asked dame multiple questions about different topics. If he answers one and doesn’t answer the others than people jump to conclusions about the questions he doesn’t answer. Good time for a “no comment on anything”
He didn’t just offer up any name. He picked Jason Kidd, the wife beater. Let’s be real. If he said “I’d love Ime Udoka” Portland fans don’t say a PEEP and on top of that guarantee he becomes the fans first choice.
Thats not the point. The main point is he has more than earned the right to be heard as to why he wanted Kidd. But they killed him for it anyway before ever listening. That's just sad, societially speaking.
