I think it'll be Indiana but I'll bet his agent is waiting for the playoffs to end to see if he can join a contender ...The Lakers come to mind....not sure Vogel will last there....Terry is in the Indiana college bb HOF so he's beloved in that state.

71 players over 9 years....is that a lot compared to other teams?

I have no problem with Stotts as a person, but if he went to the Lakers he would be dead to me.

when you count how many years the core unit stays together I'd say yeah....that's a lot of turnover....we haven't finished a season with the same starting lineup since Lamarcus days....lot of mid season trades..it's tough to build a team that way in my view...you need a team that flows together like the Pistons with Chauncey and Rip or the Blazers with Porter Drexler and Buck.....it's the regret I have for Terry is that he had to play 19 starting lineups two seasons ago looking for a core and 13 starting lineups this season....I like front office and roster stability so this is a weird time for me as a fan. I reallly, really hope Neil gets the right coach and tweaks the roster so we can have a three year run with the same basic core.

Now the Pacers have just fired their coach, will they hire Stotts?

I wonder if Stotts goes to Indiana? That would make sense.
Sure wish the Blazers could get Sabonis.

Before he signs on with another team. If he gets Indiana, he'll have something to work with! lol

He had plenty to work with here this year. Painfully obvious the system was not working or he wasn't working with the players he had available.
Not a complete bash on Terry but you have to be able to build a system around a team as well as build a team around a system.
He was given Dame and CJ and Nurk. Yes injuries happen but he also had options in my view.

Indiana is a borderline playoff team. They need some help. But i think if they stay healthy they could get better for sure.

I mentioned in another thread that after listening to CJ's podcast he sort of implied, "if" Stotts wants to coach again....he's 62 or 3 ..has a lovely wife..plenty of money...nice house in Portland and he said he and Jan love it here and call Portland home...he could just retire at this point or get a cozy media gig somewhere and sleep in his own bed every night. If he ends up in Indiana I'll cheer for him from a distance but Indiana winters are brutal!

I always thought that Stotts is a strange name. Does anyone here know of any other Stotts? Did you know any Stotts in school? Any school Stotts? Come to think of it, did you know any Olshey in school? You see what I mean? We are run by weirdos.
