The accused on the mound, the accuser at the dish, could be interesting. I once heard Bill Ripken state that Donaldson didn't play baseball to make friends. Talking trash about Cole withot proof is a good example. I felt that CCole should have put more shove it up your ass and show proof in his response.
Twins Lineup: Polanco -2B Donaldson -3B Larnach -LF Cruz -DH Jeffers -C Kirilloff -RF Sano -1B Simmons -SS Celestino -CF
Yankees Lineup: LeMahieu -1B Judge -RF Torres -SS Stanton -DH Urshela -3B Odor -2B Andujar -LF Higashioka -C Gardner - CF
I wouldn't mind it if Cole decided to "buzz the control tower" with an "up and in" fastball to Donaldson.
It may be wishful thinking on my part, but I think that the worm is finally turning for our Yanx...Thought so last night too.
I'm thinking/hoping it's more than that...we've faced quite a few mediocre teams and/or mediocre pitching and the Yanx managed to make those teams and pitchers look better than they are/were. The Yanx's posture/attitude and luck seem different to me last night and tonight...sometimes it just takes a little spark to get an underachieving team get it's mojo back. Regardless, I'm still hoping for a trade for a SS before the trade deadline...either SS Trevor Story or SS/OFer Ketel Marte works for me
Andujar, always liked that kid, he caught a bad break but is getting back to picking them up and laying them down.
