Out:Mikki Moore - good shooting big man. athletic. poor defender. good chemistry.Eddie House - great shooter. athletic. poor defender. good chemistry.Hasan Adams - good energy. athletic. mostly potential. good chemistry.
In:Nenad Krstic - good shooting big man. good post moves. okay defender. notvery athletic. good teammate.Jamal Magloire - good rebounder. tough. okay scorer. okay defender. not very athletic. good teammate??Sean Williams - good defender. athletic. mostly potential. good teammate??
I guess the restof the improvement is going to have to come from in-house; Wright, Marcus, and Boone.

We're definately putting the pressure on our young guys we already have to step up to the plate and I don't entirely mind that. We need depth but we also need our young kids to feel comfortable in their roles and know what to be expected from them instead of being used as a flavor of the week as Frank tries to figure out good combinatons. Right now I think we're at a bit of a wash compared to where our roster was at the end of last season. Bringing in Big Cat and getting Nenad back are huge and will definately be an improvement in alot of areas but I will definately miss the 3 great teammates we had last season as we're improved but not by a large leap from where we were. It will really be interesting to see how we match up with teams now and I pray we have atleast 1 more quality addition before the seasons starts.

QUOTE (GM3)

We lost Cliffy too.
We seem to be heading towards our defense days again.

Nothing wrong with that. Afterall, those were our finals-days. I'm still worried about the SG position. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I really feel that with Antoine being the main bench option at the 2, we're going to need a lot more scoring from the other bench players. Namely, Marcus Williams. Although he's a decent scorer for a first-year player, I think we all want him to develop into a pass-first second-coming-of-Kidd guy. Asking a different responsibility of him could severely retard this development.

Haha unfortunately Deathblow couldn't get the ball to drop against garbage-time competition. I don't see him serving any purpose on this team except to be McInnis' expiring contract. Not to say thats a bad thing, but he's not a guy a contending team should be counting on to make a regular impact.
